Re: Who do we want?

Funny,I always thought Gaffy was a Soft, outside receiver. But Geez,he’s got a right punch about ‘im,eh? Seriously though,he’s generally a Fair player, who’ll give everything he can to get the ball. If in the unlikely event we get ‘im,he Must be Protected at all times. If he gets the shit tagged out o...

Re: Who do we want?

I’d be wrapt with getting sheil or Gaff... can we afford Gaff? People keep saying it’s either north or wc..his management say it won’t be about money, if that’s the case then surely we must be in the mix??? I’d be upset if we went for May over either of these two!! If we go for Sheil are we happy to...

Re: Who do we want?

I’d love to get Gaff as he is an elite talent. Dodoro wanted him in his draft year, then chased him the last time he was out of contract but he re signed... now at his peak we have a chance to sign him again... we don’t need to give up a pick so the only question is what is he worth and how much can...

GWS Pickett

I see Carlscum are looking to pick up former #4 draft pick Pickett from GWS. I remember liking the look of this guy in his draft year. Is he worth a look???

Re: Ins & Outs

Kommer is cactus. McKernan isn't. Dempsey is still in the air. Dempsey has shaved his beard. Definitely back IN I guess he will be a whisker faster than this year...not that changes anything else... If Demps survives this years cull I reckon he'd have to be one of the luckiest guys at the club. I m...

Yep it's as close to a done deal as there can be. They have pick 26. We're prepared to accept pic 26. They seem prepared to offer pick 26. Can't see it not happening.

Re: Bruest

Bruest would just be mark Williams #2 we don't need him and I can't see the point in it. The only way I'd trade pick one is for either an absolute gun and there doesn't seem to be any of those available, or a slight slide down for two picks i.e.: 4+6 I can't see either of those happening so I say we...

Re: O'Meara

There's a school of thought that the top 4 rated players in this year's draft are pretty much of a muchness. McCluggage being the most recent standout of the 4. The others being Ainsworth, Bridie and Mcgrath. As such, some ate suggesting we trade our picks 1, 19 answer 37 to GCS for their picks 4, ...

Re: Hartlett

I'm all for taking one of theirs but not if he's on too much money.. We're just starting to put together a good young list. last thing we need is to pay overs to players from other clubs. We should get whoever we can that will improve our best 22 for decent wages. Obviously there are players out the...

Re: Salary Cap

It would be very interesting to see a breakdown of our salary cap and see exactly how much room we have to move for players over the next couple o years considering we seem to have paid slightly overs to all our suspended players. (with good reason) Of these players how many will retire in the next ...

Re: O'Meara

Does anyone really believe he will go through to the psd? Are we kidding ourselves? Surely someone will offer GC something decent for him? The only way I see him coming to us via psd is if we really make a big play for him and convince him he can get his body right and thrive at our club.... I imagi...

Re: O'Meara

Do you remember when GCS held is to ransom over Caddy? Payback is a bitch muppets!! Welcome to Essendon JOM. A no risk deal via our first pick in the PSD. We basically get him for nothing and as such, who cares if his knee is dodged. Nothing but upside and if he does come good, a midfield with Pari...

Re: Before anyone gets any ideas...

Only plus I can see with picking up Boomer would be that it would give norf supporters the absolute shits! haha... Yeah... But nah.. He would just take the place of a young kid and we have enough experience coming back into the side. He should sign for the doggies he'd be a good fit there.

Re: Trade Targets 2016

I still feel like we a have some player/players in mind to trade for the number1 pick... Woosha has mentioned it a few times and Harvs said something similar the other day... It kinda feels like we are being conditioned to soften the blow of trading our first ever #1 pick. I'll be ok with it for a p...

Fyfe has been mentioned as possibly up for trade? Would we give pick 1 for him? Would they take it? Are we concerned about his injuries?

Re: The Draft. 2015.

Happy enough with these picks! Parish and Francis were the two I wanted straight up :D Like the sound of Redman, not sure about Morgan and Brown deserves his chance. :) Don't know much about Yestin Eades but I like his name! Big disappointments: no Rioli #-o we knew that one before the draft though....

Is there any chance we could just offer our first pick for Treloar?
