Re: Who do we want?

Dea is f****** stiff. This years most courageous player. Played well in the games he played. Would have thought he’d keep the likes of Ambrose and Gleeson honest. Ah well... Reckon the club reckons the likes of Ridley, Redman and Zerk-Thatcher will keeps the likes of Ambrose & Gleeson honest. Havin...

Re: Fletch jnr

Max Fletcher (Dusty younger son) has just been added to the Calder Cannons summer training squad at age 15. If he was to make the team and play a significant amount of under 18 football next year as a 16 year old that would be a good sign for us.

Re: Who do we want?

Talk that GWS have cracked the shits for "having" accept unders for Setterfield and Scully and thus are playing hard ball with Shiel and Lobb. Well dickheads that isn't how trading works, also you essentially told Shiel and Lobb to f*** off. Also how much does the Hawks trading for Scrimshaw and Scu...

Re: Fletch jnr

Cal Twomey, who now Emma Quayle has gone to club land, is the guy I listen most to about the draft and potential draftees, has Mason Fletcher going as a rookie, if I'm not mistaken.

Re: DYLAN SHIEL

The last few hours of trade period is being televised Wednesday night on Fox Footy. Notice how none of the big name deals have been completed yet, but plenty of little some no name player from a top 8 team has been traded to a bottom 4 team for a draft pick in the 19th round have occurred. You know ...

Re: Fletch jnr

Well seeing he missed pretty much his entire U18 year with injury, hard to see him being anymore than a late round/rookie draft pick....no idea where this talk of him being a potential 1st round pick is coming from.

Re: Fletch jnr

Missed most of the year with stress fractures in his back. If the club wants him, he will be a rookie pick I'd imagine, same goes for Matt Neagle.

Re: SACK SMITH

The story that is appearing (if it is accurate, could just be story we are going to be fed to limit the fallout) is that it was Warner's idea and he pushed for them to do it, got Bancroft to actually do it, and Smith was aware of it, but did nothing to stop it. Reports also surfacing that there has ...

Re: SACK SMITH

And in the aftermath we go from 0/57 to all out for 107 in the space of 19.4 overs. A collapse of 10/50, officially a worse collapse than England's 10/58 the other day.

Re: SACK SMITH

Talk that all of Renshaw, Burns and Bailey will be pulled out of the Shield Final currently underway and sent to South Africa. That would cover the loss of Bancroft, Warner and Smith, with two openers and a middle order player being sent over. Surely Maxwell has to get a look in too, particularly se...

Re: SACK SMITH

So where is that line that these peanuts heatbutt but never cross. The on field behaviour by both teams during this series has been disgusting but to deliberately conspire to cheat and then get the new bloke in the team too actually do it, is a f****** disgrace and mind blowingly stupid. How did the...

Re: The Politics Thread.

So if Barnaby is ineligible, he has been ineligible for the past 13 years he has sat in Parliament. If that is the case can we make him repay all the entitlements and salary he falsely collected over that time?

Re: Adelaide v Richmond Grand Final

Houli was robbed clear NS medallist for mine and thought Rance was 2nd best on, reckon Martin had a average game for him. Think he had been listening to too much of the hype surrounding him during the week almost being untacklable. Saw a number of time where he almost instigated being tackled so he ...

Rookie Parenting Mistake

The almost 4-year-old refuse to wear a nappy to bed tonight. Not a major issue, she is usually okay, and she went to toilet before going to sleep and said she did both wees and poos. Anyway she goes to sleep, a little while later my wife walks past the room and said that it smelt like poo in there. ...

Re: Justin Murphy

Dean Rioli and Campbell Brown have given him a whack on Twitter, while Brown is a massive flog he tweeted that he was a weak prick on the field and it seems he is also a weak prick off the field as well, hard not to agree with him. One of the weakest blokes I've ever seen in an Essendon jumper. Inte...

Re: Australian Tour of India 2017

Gee given the response of the spooky la las of a Indian cricket (Kumble & Singh) I'd hate to see what would have happened to the Indians if we had a decent spinner seeing that reckon SOK was average. Then you have sooks like Ganguly and Gavaskar who had a sook about the pitch and how it favoured Aus...

Got to love the people who were stupid enough to vote for him over his "drain the swamp" rhetoric only to see him then fill his cabinet with fat cat after fat cat who have been like pigs at the trough their entire careers. Only bloke who was actually going to try and drain the swamp was Bernie Sande...

It was part of the deal to get New Zealand to agree to play a day/night Test in Adelaide last year.

We offered to play a home and away Chappell/Hadlee ODI series against them every year for ages.

Re: Victor Trump-er

The funny thing is Hillary actually won the overall popular vote. I guess that says that the majority of voting yanks are not stark raving mad. There was a four year old tweet of his that I saw brought up today where he said something along the lines of "the electoral college system is terrible for...
