Re: Leigh Montagna - An Essendon Inspiration

Excellent post IMO. I can remember watching Montagna and Dal Santo run around in the VFL at Coburg in about 2001 and wondering if they'd ever make anything of themselves. Most of the Saints core that is giving us this amazing ride is 24 - 26 yo. So FFS don't despair. You've got heaps of young blokes...

Re: Hahahahahahahahahahaha!

Join us in poking fun at the Blues, VS, we're all brothers in arms in our hatred for them vingertje Ok a few of us are sisters ;) Oh yeah. They have the unending loathing of all Saints fans. When we were looking down the barrel of folding, Carlscum were actively encouraging that to happen. Their cr...

Re: Hahahahahahahahahahaha!

Nice work this evening. Nothing better than giving a thumping to the scum from Criminal Park. Long may they suffer.

Re: Only 3 things to say...

The saints have shown they're one of the top 2 sides, and at least 3-4 goals better than the rest. Positions 3-14 are very much up for grabs I think. The teams there now have been entirely too inconsistent to make a clear break to a 3rd contender. I hope we get there, but our young team may falter ...

Re: Only 3 things to say...

3) St Failure for premiers.....LOL....what a bunch of over rated piss weak over rated turds. They are 4 injuries, a big thumping from someone (it will happen soon) and a bunch of old has beens (King, Gardiner, and so on) from a 4th-8th finish. Bunch of shielas. The words of a frustrated and disappo...

Re: Essendon vs St Kilda Match Preview Thread

it is a little strange why you chose to join an Essendon forum..... :| Pretty brave decision! I just like footy. One of the best games I've ever seen was the Essendon vs Brisvegas goalfest in 2001? 2002? I decided to test the water and see how you guys responded to me butting in. Been pleasantly su...

Re: Essendon vs St Kilda Match Preview Thread

Look people it's all very nice and lovey dovey now.....some may even say intimate. You get a compliment or two...a bit of flirtation...hell... who's it hurting? Then comes the big event! Not that I'm saying anything is wrong here... but we will wake up Monday morning. I just want to make sure that ...

No change for the Bombers. King in for McEvoy for the Saints.
Still wouldn't be surprised if King doesn't come up and McEvoy plays.

Re: Essendon vs St Kilda Match Preview Thread

I would never say Saint Kilda are a crap club!!! Surely there is a more dergatory term than crap pathetic, spineless and ammusing are just three words that I would personally choose. cheap shots mate. If that's the best you can muster go back to the playground. Three words for you. Water. Duck. Back.

Re: Essendon vs St Kilda Match Preview Thread

Personally I have a well grounded and thoroughly reasonable hatred of Carlton. May the criminal, la-de-da arseclowns in navy blue disappear overnight. May Criminal Park burn to the ground and their insurance policy be out of date. May their arrogant, smug, self-importance be laid waste at the feet ...

Re: Essendon vs St Kilda Match Preview Thread

Well, now that the welcome mat has been extended, followed by Ron Andrews stepping out from behind the fridge with the elbows extended, all in all I'd say thanks for having me on your forum, not that you had any choice. I too have my footy roots in the tribal days when footy was played at suburban g...

Re: Essendon vs St Kilda Match Preview Thread

Well, I have been a critic of Riewoldt over the years. Reason? Because he appears to be a champ from R1 to R22, but really hasn't delivered on the big stage in September. Your mob has had 3 shots to enter the Grand Final in the last 5 years, and it was a perfect opportunity for Nick to show everyon...

Re: Essendon vs St Kilda Match Preview Thread

Good post considering the source  . I am not among those who don't rate Reiwolt. He is a phenomonal player who's only flaw is erratic kicking. I was at the final against Collingwood last year and it was one of the best individual performances I have seen. He marked everything that came near hi...

Re: Essendon vs St Kilda Match Preview Thread

Hi guys. Dropping in to see what Bomber fans' expectations are for the game against the mighty Saints this Sunday. I reckon this is a danger game for us. Essendon were good last week against the Dorks and will be taking us on coming off a six day break. If it's close at 3/4 time your run could get y...
