Re: Footy Show finale

What do you expect from a pig but a grunt? The pig being the Footy Show, and not Tippa.

Re: 2019 Elimination Final: Essendon v West Coast

Rioli was amazing, wasn't he? Big as a house yet seemed to have more time and space available to him than just about any other player I've seen play. Sublime skills as well.

Re: Crystal ball 2019

I was a little late to the party, it seems. Please see my predictions below: Ladder finish: 6th - likely to play Collingwood in an elimination final, which we will win. B&F: Dylan Shiel Most Improved: Darcy Parish Best clubman: Jake Stringer Leading goal kicker: Jake Stringer Highest Brownlow votes:...

Re: R20 Essendon v Port Adelaide

Final Team: In: Fantasia & McKenna. Out: Laverde & McNiece. EDIT - Emergencies: Myers, Ham, Laverde & Hartley. Port have brought in 3 talls, but ditched Lycett. It's like they've decided their best chance to beat us is to stretch our defence (and probably make sure Hooker can't go forward), and hop...

Re: Salary Cap

Is there anywhere online which sets out the terms of each contract EFC has entered into with its players?

Could not agree more.
Clarke stays. No to Hartley.

Langford needs to do more to hold his spot.
Dylan yes, Zac no.

What about Laverde?
Same bucket as Langford.

Defence was average tonight...why was Hartley dropped.

Missing key players definitely hurt

Umpiring was deplorable
These look about right.

Hartley, no. More pressure up the field is required.

Re: Who is the most improved for 2019?

Parish the standout here. He's gone from a fringe player, to having a genuine influence on the outcome of games. He was brilliant against Adelaide.

It's terrific to see someone reap the rewards from hard work.

Out of interest, does anyone know how long it takes a person to sober up following an Irish wedding? It would be a matter of months, rather than days or weeks, wouldn't it?

Re: Rnd 19..vs Gold Coast Suns

I know I am pessimistic but I still feel that this is a major red flag game. You would think that GCS will have tor respond to their shite form at some stage and we are coming off an extended period of intense football. A loss like this has been a regular feature of our team over the last several s...

His contested work has been exceptional. Initiated a number of turnovers/attacks from the backline last night.
Yep, he was central to the comeback. It's great seeing fringe players blossom.

Brilliant win. Genuine team performance. Hard, purposeful and committed. Great stuff.

The mids were spectacular, in particular. Shiel, Heppell, Parish, Merrett.

Francis a level above.
