Re: Team vs Fremantle (Part 2)
Hmmm...wasn't Hibberd in our best players on Friday night....why then would you even consider dropping him? if the guy is performing well, then surely he deserves his spot (ahead of the likes of Ryder and Slattery). I have to agree with that, dropping Hibberd could do a lot of harm to our chances b...

Re: Nathan Lovett-Moron
f****** spud. The dumbest footballer to ever play the game. Has there ever been someone who has played a worse 100 games than this prick? Loved his run through the middle then unloads from 50, only to instead chop the ball 20m out from goal to two Melbourne players. When most players retire, they u...

Re: THE TEAM - ANZAC DAY
Slattery in...f*** me dead...the game is already lost #-o He was named in the best last week in the 2's, seriously he must be a great clubman because he pretty much did nothing all day. As much as he looks like Gary O'Donnel he isn't him and it's about time the Essendon coaching staff realize this....

Re: Hurley or Watts
Haha, love the name Bryce Squibbs... I just rate him as a very good player and wish he was at Essendon instead of Gumbleton, he seems to calve us up every time. If he's not Carlton's second best player who is?

Re: Hurley or Watts
Hurley is going to be an out and out champion. I put Watts in the Gibbs bucket. May have a ton of skill but appears to lack any degree of bottle. Both very hesitant and reluctant to get their hands dirty. Hurley appears to have no fear at all!! :D As much as I hate Carlton I have to defend Gibbs he...

I don't know why, but I'm one. People generally hate my point of view... so I don't post. I would like these forums to survive though.

Re: Team Round 1
Looks like a good team. One player who has improved that no one has mentioned is Slattery, looks like he has improved and was even having a run in the middle at stages. I didn't see him do anything special in the first two games against Brisbane and the Saints... and I have to admit I missed the ga...

Re: Team Round 1
I only say that because his kicking style is pretty much woeful and the way he goes up for a mark isn't exactly textbook either. Both are key elements to being a good centre half forward, in fact just a good footballer.

Re: Team Round 1
We haven't even played a practice match yet. To pick the team for Round 1 is almost impossible. Still, I don't understand how you could put Slattery, Gumbleton and Williams in the side. These players are at crossroads in there careers and all would want a big NAB cub just to be considered for select...

Re: The list is horse shit.
There's worst lists in the AFL. We do have some potential, but we're going to have to get very lucky to build a top 4 list within the next 5 years from where we currently are given the concessions/restrictions in place over the next 3 years. Name one list that's worse than ours and don't say West C...

Re: Slattery (and a bit of Welsh)
Friday night was the best game Slattery has ever produced... he didn't commit his usual clangers and give away stupid free kicks like he usually does. This was truly amazing considering we got smashed by nearly 100 points. In my opinion he will be the worst player to ever play over 100 games for the...

Re: Predicted Best Team at Round 15
Thats cool mate... I just reckon the other 2 are just players, nothing special... besides my team is packed with midfielders already. I know he had a shocker on Sunday but Monfries presents well, knows where the goals are and usually finds them.

Hille doesn't have a brain in his head, he's Peter Somerville all over again. When he does win a hit out it goes straight to the opposition. We have a the worst number 1 ruck in the competition, and the worst vice captain. It was funny when the game was up for grabs in the last five minutes he actua...
