Re: Jake Milkshake
It was a great mark and goal this week. Seems to know where the goals are but only 11 possies again. We are struggling in the midfield and we can't afford to carry someone that's only good for 10 - 15 touches a week. Melksham doesn't have the frame to get the hard ball and this is supposed to be his...

Re: Leroy
When he gets the ball, he baulks a couple of different ways (mostly backwards), then waves his other forwards on to present as targets, then he coughs it up as the opposition have gotten players back by the time he's finished his theatrics. Useless. Our players should take a leaf out of Fletchers bo...

Someone will get injured in the first quarter and he will end up playing most of the game.Gimps wrote:Monfries is the sub. Hopefully we won't need him..

Re: Jobe's Brownlow Votes
Jobe will do very well in the count this year. I agree that Jobe would be around the mid 20's in voting at this stage. He'll go very close. Likely named as AA captain IMO as well. He probably deserves it, but whether he gets it or not remains to be seen...he has some stiff competition in Swan, Able...

Come on, he deserved to get that contract at the time. How was the club to know he would do his knee.bomberdonnie wrote:Yes, another outstanding decision by the clubSismis wrote:Prismal has a year to run on his contract.
I still expect him to be big part of our future.

Re: Hush hush....(the team)
Is Hurley going to play back? Or else a late change. Or Hooker in as a late change. They've got Petrie, Hansen and Tarrant up forward, as well as Edwards, who I expect will have Hardingham on him. Dear good not Myers... Good post... Surely Hooker will be a late in or Hurley will play the entire gam...

Re: Fletcher
No real surprises there, the good thing is he is still one of our best players...the worrying thing is that he is still one of our best players... we really need another decent defender to cover him when he retires. Unless Gumby/Daniher can hold down the key forwards role and Hurls moves back there...

Prismall was playing his best footy before he got injured last year. Unless his injury is career threatening I reckon they'll keep him.

After we got smashed by Geelong Mark Fine asked the SEN callers who they thought was better, Scarlett or Fletcher. His next two callers turned out to be assholes and Finey called them that. I reckon he's the best sports host on radio and this is one the reason why.

Re: A midfield with...
Don't forget Lonergan, he is a hard ball specialist. This bloke loves getting in and under and although his disposal can let him down he provides some relief for Watson. He can play forward too. Colyer and Browne show a lot of promise and should be in the 22 for the rest of the year. Developing thes...

Re: The moment the game was lost
I can forgive Melsham for thinking the ball was going out of play and making a rookie mistake like that. What I can't forgive is the free he gave away when holding the footy in the last quarter. He got the hard ball, held it in and then made abosolutley no attempt to get rid of it. The fox commentar...

Alex Browne and Courtney Dempsey
After lowering his colours in the last couple of weeks Dempsey made a statement today. Went in hard at all day and showed us what a class player he can be. We have found one in Browne, even if one of his goals was a fluke. Can get the hard ball and has a mature body for such a young player. I hope h...

Yeah he wasn't great but at least he had a heap of hit outs.Gimps wrote:Don't think he's in the side for his offensive skills. Played well defensively and put in - can't fault him on that.
If you want to talk about someone's disposal, have a look at Bellchambers.

Re: Talls
As if we would get anthing for Hille if we put him up for trade.
If Gumbleton continues to perform and Crameri and Ryder are fit and playing Hurley should go to CHB. Four big blokes in a forward line is too many.

Re: The Stupid f*** Head
The draft is hit and miss and there will always be stories like the Rioli one. I don't blame Essendon for taking Myers ahead of Rioli, by the time the draft comes around the top 10 are almost set. Anyway, we have Anthony Long.

Re: Hodge
I reckon the Hawks selectors thought to themselves this week about Hodge: "We don't want to risk him by playing him in the VFL, so let's ease him back against the Essendon firsts instead". It's not that ridiculous, after reviewing our match against Geelong they would of had no fear about ...

Get NLM out there for a full game next week. Boy, things have really gone bad havent they? Let's give the useless f****** shit truck more game time, based on the fact he could get a couple of kicks when the game was over. He will be f****** awful in any increased role, and anyone with half a brain ...

Unsighted all night. Gotta go back to VFL. Has to. Think it was BD who asked a few weeks ago if anyone could state what Monfries role was....same needs to be asked about Jake. He had another shocker but wasn't alone. It would of been great if Kav or Browne had of shown a bit more and made cases to ...
