Re: Essendon v Hawthorm Match Thread
Agreed, when you strip back all the bullshit, we are just about back to where we were under that mental moron Knights. Time to do some major house keeping and grow some balls and poach some decent players. Of course that will never happen, it's not in our DNA but that's what's needed if we are ever...

Re: Votes v Hawks
5. Watson 4. Gumby 3. Howlett 2. Hepp 1. Carlisle Hocking really? Thought he was ordinary. had about 15 touches? The four tackles stat sells him terribly short. Looked like he gave a f*** tonight. More then 15 other blokes. Agree with that, he attacked the footy all night and was angry about gettin...

I thought that after the first quater to minimise the damage to our percentage they would have to do it.

Not to mention swearing at a kids game of footy Absolute cumstain Not that i condone his swearing, but he was trying to tell the umpire that both teams were kicing the same way, and the umpire would not have a bar of him! All he was doing was trying to get the game back on track that obviously the ...

Re: Angus Monfries
Still seems to be in between an undersized lead up player, and crumber lacking speed. hmmmmm, very very Gnome like. :P Except the Gnome was actually a bloody good player at certain stages of his career.. Funny how you bring up stages in a Monfries thread. That used to be the one thing he was good at.

Re: Crameri or Griffen?
Stanton's currency has rocketed up this year. As Essendon supporters we all know he's solid without being outstanding and he's starting to get back to that now we are losing. Swapping Stanton for Griffen would be a huge win. Hell throw in our third round pick.

Re: Josh Caddy
it's gotta be a tall, GC will want to start seeing results and talls are the ones that take time to develop so my guess is they will ask for one of our tall forwards Hurley no, Crameri no, Ryder no.... Gumby has to be yes and throw monfries in there too for good measure Can someone tell us who is s...

Re: Ladder Predictor
I'll be happy with 9th. Not because I don't wish we were better than that, but because I reckon it's where we belong, and playing finals would be as imposters. Besides, I don't think I could stand watching another total thrashing in week one of finals. Sadly, we'll probably limp into the 8 on the b...

Re: Jake Milkshake
I like his low 55m kicks for goal. About it at the moment. He's been good for a goal most weeks, but that's about it. His disposal in general isn't great and I'm sick of those grubber kicks of his into the forward 50. He needs to go back to the VFL to get some confidence or maybe start as the sub. ...

Re: Josh Caddy
I don't know if we have anyone good enough to trade for him, most of our quality is signed up. I don't think GC would accept our second round pick and an ordinary player. Maybe if Gumbleton kicks a couple of bags before the end of the year we could offload him...

They pretty much laughed it off and said nothing was in it, so Scarlett should miss 4 weeks.

Re: Jake Milkshake
He's having a lot of trouble just getting his hands on the footy. Just 7 disposals for a midfielder is hopeless. Geelong where too big and strong for us and Melkshams little frame epitomized the difference between us and them.

our depth is deep but only average, need a few promising kids like Geelong to bring in that have spend serious time in the VFL, we are forced to bring them in too early and shatter their confidence Name one kid we have bought in too early this year or even last year? Heppell was a ready made player...

Jazz/Megan. Is there any way to get an ignore feature on this board? Don't worry Bert, he's gone. Why? He was clearly an idiot but what 'rule' did he break? Or did I miss something? Can Windy_Hill be banned too then? I also dislike gumbyisback but I agree with him on the putrid efforts of Melksham ...

Re: POWER TO THE PUSSY!
Nothing wrong with NLM's game tonight, he did what he could and we probably needed him to play the entire game. We were bashed up by bigger, stronger and better players. We would of lost by a three digit margin is he played the whole game. You obviously didn't watch the same game I did. I did i wat...

Re: Hille V Bellchambers
He was terrible tonight but his previous couple of games he has been good. You would think Bellchambers has gone past him now but I still think there is a spot on the list for him. Look at what's happened to Carlton's ruck stocks for this week.

So you reckon NLM will be Super Sub and then blitz them just after half time? It could happen.gumbyisback wrote:we won last time with waston and nlm not playing. This time NLM is playing could be the difference.
