Re: Goal Kicking

I think there must be something about the density of the air with the roof closed. It must have an affect on the ball as it travels through the air. Some of the kicks appear to just die on trajectory. Whether that is heavier air as it has nowhere to go, I don't know. But there must be some sort of ...

Re: R9 Essendon v Fremantle

If Ben McNiece gets another game, we’re not serious about winning a flag.

Re: Goal Kicking

It’s shit technique, and being dumb, Crazy.

Most of them have major flaws in their ball drop, and others are too dumb to set a licking point in their mind that will stop them from getting too close to the man on the mark.

Re: R7 Essendon v Geelong

The story doing the rounds is the 'Windy Hill Flu' got at the team last week - thus the lack of defensive running and pressure. Raz has been sidelined for 2 games due to it (although it wouldn't surprise me if he's gone in for year ending surgery). How does the WHF target the seniors but leave the ...

Re: R7 Essendon v Geelong

Went back to the way we played against GWS and St Kilda. Couldn’t handle the pressure and continually bombed it high into the forward 50. Plenty bagging Daniher, f*** me, the poor c*** was lucky to have a kick to his advantage, and all kicks to him in a one on one went 500 yards in the f****** air!...

Re: R6 Essendon v Collingwood (ANZAC Day)

Definite changes In: Smith and Zaha Out: Ham and Ridley (not that they did anything wrong ... just someone must give way) Considering changes: Laverde for Baguley (though its hard not to kick 6 goals in a 100 point win and you hardly play in the midfield) Clarke if fit - Do we really want TBell to ...

Re: Zac Clarke

Interesting situation. Thought he played very well yesterday around the ground. Provided many linking passages of play. The dilemma is bringing Joe Daniher back this week. Do we play 2.5 ruckmen? If these c**** even remotely consider putting Daniher in the ruck this week, they should be shot. The *...

Re: R5 Essendon v North Melbourne

After 13 marks in defence, Hooker will be staying put. The only chance for Francis is if Ridley or Redman are dropped....which to be honest would be tough love for both those boys, especially Ridley who copped being the sacrificial lamb early in the season. I suspect it will be Redman out, Francis ...

Re: R5 Essendon v North Melbourne

Couldn't possibly drop Brown - 25 Possies with 9 contested, 11 marks and 88% accuracy. Out TBell (injured), David Myers (broken nose - well any excuse really), In: Draper, Clarke, Tossing up whether to replace Ambrose with Francis given the job on the stager Mr floppy Brown (3 goals from stages yes...

How much better does the team look without Langford?
By saying that, do you mean how much better we look with Myers?
Myers is junk. Replacing him with junk isn’t the answer. Rather give someone else a go.

Hooker in for McKernan.

Myers in for Mutch.

Re: Kyle Languid

How’s that vindication going for you Windy Hille? Dropped after 2 games, including one of the worst efforts I’ve seen in my life, going to the bench last week. I’m still happy to stick by him. I’ve explained those reasons elsewhere. Admittedly, he had a stinker last week. It happens. I thought he w...
