Re: Hird

I hope he is ok. Is there news he is in the clear?

And I hope is family is too if it's what the news is insinuating.

An 'overdose' leads you to think suicidal. And with a family of four, life at home must be very very hard.

Re: Argument for Jobe to Keep Brownlow

I think he is suffering by holding on to it, to tell you the truth. Can certainly see how handing it back is symbol of also acknowledging guilt - and by his and all the players I understand they maintain their innocence. Happens to Jobe it can and will at some point in the future happen to another f...

They have traded out two proven elite mids past their prime for two just about to enter.

Including one we were deadset keen on as he is a once in a generation player.

Re: Pick 1

Petrvski-Seton might be good, but I am sick of us getting perennially injured types so no thanks... Judd, Heppell were drafted with injury concerns. Petrovski-Seton looks bloody special. Elite kick both sides of his body, wins his own footy good in traffic. I'd be most comfortable with us taking hi...

Re: Pick 1

Petrovski-Seton as grassy said. Just looks a cut above IMO in all online footage available. Love how he uses the footy on both sides of his body. Quality. Has plenty of x factor about him. I'm not overly sold on the upside of McGrath and McCluggage. Both look good yes, just not sure if I see 10 year...

Sam Petrovski-Seton.

Doesn't want to play for the Eagles or Dockers.Nor any Club outside Victoria.

A MELBOURNE based Club(or Geelong)would be fine.

Tough decision to make, given we interviewed him, between him and young McCluggidge.

Re: Hugh McCluggage

If stats are as important as you make out, I think the above stats back up my claims quite well. I can see how someone who didn't understand football could come to that conclusion. Really? I think I explained my concerns about the kicking of McCluggage by actually watching him play. And that McGrat...

Re: Hugh McCluggage

McGrath getting some buzz of late. Best on Ground with a 37 disposal game in the TAC grannie. Plus GWS openly state their interest in him. Looks like a pacey rebounding half back - a key weapon in this day and age of "slingshot" footy I like the look of him more than McCluggage. How so?

Re: Hartlett

port have salary cap issues, so they have to let one of their high paid players go. thats my understanding at least. apparently they really butchered their cap. Makes you wonder how in todays game? I think after the close loss to Hawthorn in that PF they thought they were close to a flag so pursued...

Re: Hartlett

We need more midfield depth.

Look at the top sides. Seriously to win a grand final we'll need to match a group like the giants, swans, doggies etc.

Hartlett should be a target at the right price definitely.

Re: The Suns failure. The Mumford theory.

So Gary Ablett Jr, the best midfielder in the modern game, couldn't provide the same oomph to the Suns that Mumford has to GWS. I think there's more to it than one player from either club. Better draft choices at inauguration, better coaching appointments, less recruitment of junk, and a better cul...

Could easily be.

The Suns failure. The Mumford theory.

Gws and Gold Coast are a contrasting tale of two non traditional afl 'markets'. Both clubs loaded up with draft picks should be now finals bound. Gws have been overly successful even if they lose on the weekend. The suns have been spectacularly a failure. I put it down to one influential player and ...

say it again, would be suprised if the hawks find many on their list wanting to go up to the gold coast. and they have no trade currency for omeara. they either try and flog a late first round now and probably a late one next draft or involve a third club. we should be getting a steal for a guy like...

I want us to land McCluggage.

For talent and the name.

And you have to like a Mr consistency. I am pretty sure this was a junior trait of both Heppell and Parish.

The Big Mac, with an Antler sponsorship.
