Re: Pre-Season BRAINSTORMING

Im surprised people who obviously go to games frequently and can see the dodgee game plan knights had in place unfolding cant see that that was virtually the be all and end all of our problems. Whether the players were ignoring orders, or knights game them orders to do so, there were consistent issu...

Re: R20 Essendon v Collingwood in game Autopsy

Knights??? These are his boys, the ones he has backed in. I have never seen an Essendon team that is so easy to score against. It's a f****** disgrace what this c*** has done to our (not his, the richmond c***) club. Rob, as much as you despise Knights, you cant possible excuse the lack of passion ...

Re: LOL @ Stanton

I have been telling you guys playing him as a defender is a BAD mistake. All it has done has freed him up to accumilate possessions so he can have his usual 30+ touches with 15+ turnovers.

Only difference is, now his turnovers are almost guaranteed to cost us a goal each.

Great work coach!!

Re: David Hille - Unrealised Potential?

Agree with you Windy, Hille showed just before he did his knee that he is omongst the upper echlon of Rucks when he gets going but hasnt achieved those heights over a sustained period of time. Cant agree with ealsy though, I thought Sheeds was right in looking for a no.1 ruck to guide Hille and assi...

Re: Essendon v Collingwood Pre-Match Discussion

What is there to discuss, it will be a smashing of the worst proportions. Barring a hurricane, Collingwood will break winning margin records. As much as I hate to admit it the criminals are the real deal and in form. We cought the saints in a tough patch, collingwood are far from in anything resembl...

Coincidence?

I tend to recall another side in a similar guernsey albait slightly different colour that could win games it should never win and consistantly lose games it should never lose. This team was the tipsters worst nightmare. Seems we have taken the mantle in the last 2 years. Coincidence or rotting fish ...

Re: MRP- players in trouble?

It will be thrown out. If Hille goes then the Scum players who Hille comically headbutted and then successfully staged for a free kick will also miss a few weeks. Really the entire episode was comical. Robinson headbuts Hilles arm, free kick and report. Hill then comically gives an example of the ev...

Re: Not All Is Lost

I refer to the emergence of Colyer, Howlett and Hardingham Colyer looks like a dead set star in the making - our Brent Harvey perhaps? Howlett to me looks like that type of player that every club needs, just loves doing the dirty work, getting under packs, tackling, competing like his life depended...

Re: Kick It Long For God's Sake

Sorry a more relevant thread might be "Kick it straight for f*** sake!!!" Our kicking in general is just farked. Neagle, Gumby, Hardingham, Froggy, all forwards who have kicking actions that should have been sorted out in the under 16's. Get a kicking coach in and have these guys kick 1,00...

Re: Stanton should be reinvented

I guess im saying he needs to learn. I know his defensive side is shit, but his offensive side has a glaring weakness and that is his disposal add to that his inability to shake a tag. Surely being given a very specific task of running with a player every week will at very least improve his defensiv...

Stanton should be reinvented

I know I have mentioned this before but just want to know what you guys think. I think most of us agree that the only real tagger we currently have in our team is Welsh. Oppinions are clearly divided over how successful he is. IMO he does a great shutdown job without having much influence on the off...

Re: Knights Is A Retard

Love this thread, lets make it a top 10 reasons why knights is and remains a retard. Contenders so far in no particular order (yet!) 1. Insisting Hocking is a Key Defender when he is clearly a midfielder. Could add Dempsey to that to a lesser extent. And now the latest in full backs, Stanton. Now ev...

Re: If you were coach ...

Interesting that none of the replies have Jetta in their best 22. Was easily in our best a month or two back. His form like the teams has dropped off. But IMO he has shown more than enough this year to prove he belongs in the best IMO if you are looking at guys who need to be rested to allow game t...

Re: Our Best 22 - Still Unknown?

Prismall - c'mon any bloke would look good playing with the cats. Ask freo about des headland. Williams - dodgy achilles, perhaps dodgy body. the hawks did let him walk, perhaps for a reason? Kepler is playing ok at Freo good on him, I'm still glad hes gone. Barlow was a mistake, but heck from all ...

Re: Our Best 22 - Still Unknown?

How can we possibly have any idea of the quality of our list under Knights!! Given the right coach with the right game plan, who is to say our list isnt up to it? You guys stick the boots in to every player every week, but if the game plan is rubbish, the selection rubbish, hell training is probably...

Been a very long time since i bothered posting on here, though I like to scan over the occasional ammusing and even sometimes insightful posts. I havent posted cos im a fence sitter, been sitting on the fence hoping the club knows more than I know, and knights is a better coach than he appears. I'd ...
