Re: Votes vs StKilda
You blokes are dead set clowns. Goddard gets 124 DT points - highest of any player in the team - and the best you can do is give him 1 point between you.

Re: Cooney.
T'was a great season, Tony. I agree. And yes, the rest of his career wasn't quite at the same level but he was elite (if top ten midfielders in the comp is deemed elite).tonysoprano wrote:Kouta had one of the greatest seasons ever in 2000, but I reckon the rest of his career was just solid to very good, not elite.

LOL kouta played one good game in his life 1999 prelim final. Either that is a joke or you are a bigger f****** moron than any of us could have ever contemplated. Definitely the 2nd one. As someone who reads this site quite frequently but rarely posts, I just couldn't hold back any longer... Robbie67's relentless abuse of Flip aka Filthy is just disgraceful. Dude, you appear to be a complete jerk. Your attempts at ankle biting are simply pathetic and by bringing his family members i...

Re: Interchange cap - 120 per game
I think it's a great idea and should be dropped further. Will slow the game up and hopefully revert to more structured, positional play (like the 80s!). right now the game resembles a bunch of seagulls fighting over a leftover lunch with blokes rotating on and off every 8 seconds...stop the intercha...

Commentary is junkety junk
Gotta say it, just watched the Bulldogs/Roosters game tonight...and switched to the Hawks/Eagles game at times too...the standard of commentary in the NRL (Fittler aside - he is woeful) is so much better than the AFL commentary. Ray Warren is dead set Australia's best commentator hands down. He coul...

Re: Essendons Great Wasted Talent
Robbie, you are kidding yourself mate...cost Hird at least one, maybe 2, brownlows..? Are you serious? which years? He missed some football, yes, but his best football was well after his injuries anyway (I'd say 2000 onwards)...to say he was cost 2 Brownlows is fair dinkum as one-eyed as it gets. As...

We are the best in the business
I reckon we win the comp this season. I really do. Clearly the form team and we finally have depth. Midfield is the best in the comp and perfectly balanced with the in-and-under champion and 'engine room' (the new Diesel Williams) in Jobe Watson, outsiders like Zaharakis, ballwinners like Stanton an...

Saw him live against Box Hill and just watched the video on the website. FFS, play him. He is an absolute gun. What possible reasons could they put up to keep him out??? Crameri, Hurley and Gumbleton are all in front of him. Its that simple. JD is a young gun, but Gumby showed more VFL form and Hur...

I don't follow it closely (i.e. I don't go to games) but that is irrelevant here. If the guys is the next big thing, then play him now. Get him to fulfil that 'potential' faster!

Re: BLACK CAVIAR
Indeed, it is the trainer's job to manage and palce horse astutely. However, she ain't just any horse. I feel that some of the criticism levelled by the Sydneysiders was legitimate. In the last 12 months, bar Ascot, Lightning Stakes 2012 and the second TJ Smith, she has basically been sent around fo...

Re: BLACK CAVIAR
Meh, champion horse, done more for racing than any horse since Phar Lap...but, highly staged managed career. 1400 metre WFA race in Sydney this week...would have been perfect finale (beat the little brother, too). Instead they retire her. Says it all for me. And this is not a knock on the horse, but...

Re: Another f****** in Australian Cricket
I threw my bat once when I was leaving the field. Good wind up, and let it go with some venom. Straight through the umpires drivers' side window (I didn't mean to hit it). It was a costly exercise, but I thought him driving home with bits of glass poking his arse was karma for his woeful decision w...
