Re: SO WHAT NOW?

I seem to recall the geelong crowd (at geelong) applauding Dangerfield every time he got the ball, whilst he was still playing for the crows.

So I`m wondering if the swans supporters will cheer Joe on when we play them (up there), which we inevitabley seem to do.

Re: Joe Daniher's Groin, Calf, Moustache, Little Pinky

TW going early. Daniher to stay. edit: correct! Buggered up Carlscum getting Papley & maybe Martin too! Double bonus. =D> No - Carlton buggered up Martin all by themselves. It was joyous listening to SEN towards the end of the trading period as a couple of Carlton diehards phoned to accuse EFC of d...

Re: Bonar

If Bonar is a ball-butcherer, I`d rather not have him, we have ample numbers of ball-butcherer's already in the team. Our main objective in this trade period and draft should be getting players that can actually hit a target once they get it, with both feet would be even nicer :) . Soooo sick of see...

Re: We are the third biggest winners from trade week so far

Glad I'm not a Saints fan. How they are going to fit in everyone that wants to get there will be intriguing. Well I`m intrigued to know WHY they all want to go there anyway in the first place, f***'n basket case of a club. I am guessing they (all the players that nominated them as club of choice mu...

He's nominated the Saints as preferred club.
Remains to be seen if they can get it done though, since they've got so many trades on the go.
Another one nominating Saints? Far out!!!
Yep, if stkilda have become more of a 'destination club' than us, then we are truly f*****.

Allows Hooker forward?
Yes it does that, plus he`s a perfect replacement when hooks hangs up his boots.

Re: Doogie Howser

or whatever his name is...the Adelaide utility. Looks a likely type but is he the type we need...primarily a defender who can go forward. Could be a foil for JD but apparently prefers defence. He would be a very handy pick-up...I would accept a straight pick for raz. Port peopla are pissed he is ev...

Some work out,some do not.

Zac burnt us,he burnt me for the faith I had in him.

Doesn’t mean others from the same competition should be automatically overlooked.

Your talent scouts wouldn’t be doing their jobs if they did.
Yeah, I wouldn`t mind another G Moss playing for us

If Laverde truly wants out then he has a big stage to perform on tonight v the eagles. Let`s hope he plays a blinder to maybe increase his trade value.

An absolute tragedy that we may not see another Hird running around in a Red and Black jumper. I can feel the blood boiling up inside of me when I think of the huge injustices meted out to James and his family as a result of the ASADA fiasco which is still biting us on the arse as we speak. I keep ...

If I were Hird, I’d piss all over the AFL brand, and publicly ridicule it.
And as much as the AFL deserve that ridicule Benny, Hird the man has too much class to sink to their level.

Re: Skills???

Thats Back in the day, if you couldn’t kick, you were a defender. All they were expected to do was spoil, mark when required, or punch in the back of the head. Nowadays, defenders are supposed to spoil, mark, run like mad, pinpoint passes, and basically set up the attack from there. Everyone is jus...

Re: Myers retires

Myers did his best. His left foot was very good but being a left side player made it easy for opponents to pressure him and shut him down. He saw the writing on the wall with his career when he missed that goal against the Swans. Maybe that was what the wink and laugh with Heppell.was all about. He...

I`d like to nominate Jofra (stupid name) Archer the west indian/come pommie fast bowler. Not for hitting Smith, but for his demeanour immediately after, turning round and walking back to his mark. I`ve seen many batsmen hit over the years, and normally the first person to check on the welfare of the...

I feel like I entered the twilight zone, where even with the maggots best efforts against us (23-9 free kick count) we still managed to play some 'good' football. Well done to the team, now I will dare to hope for some consistency. =D> =D>
