Re: Which Three Players Do You Hope Will Emerge as Best 22 in 2020

I agree some of our players have had plenty of time to get it together, if we are to succeed then those who have the power and fail to use it, need to now abuse it, some of our players have this year to prove themselves or get packing. Also, others are ready to step down so others can step up and ta...

Re: Which Three Players Do You Hope Will Emerge as Best 22 in 2020

The players I would like to see graduate and take the next big step - Parish, Laverde and Langford. We need to forget about JoeDan allow him to get on the his rehab and if he comes good and can play great - we need to cut our drip line to JoeDan as a player until such time as it can be sorted one wa...

Re: Joe Daniher's Groin, Calf, Moustache, Little Pinky

If he has gone overseas - what the hell is he doing in Coffs Harbor then? I am pretty sure that JD is the person under the bucket hat in photo 10 (unless Brown snuck along for a free holiday). https://www.essendonfc.com.au/albums/554865/training-at-coffs-harbour-january-20?modal=true&type=gallery&p...

Re: bush fires in nsw. I am in Merimbula.

We had 16 .m.m. in downtown Merimbula. While it is not enough to put the fires out, it is enough to green the place up, lift spirits a little and half fill some empty tanks. We have to have our tanks cleaned out as they are full of rubbish off the roof like ash which acrid and bird crap. So, the rai...

Re: bush fires in nsw. I am in Merimbula.

Some f'ing insurance company's are almost as bad or is it as good, as the AFL in crooksmenship.(That's anew word I made up.) Up here, now they are saying if a person's house gets looted they won't pay on the insurance policy because the house has no security. CAN YOU BELIEVE THEIR BULLSHIT? I though...

I also predict that the Essendon Football Club version of Monopoly will not be a raging success... https://shop.essendonfc.com.au/essendon-monopoly/ The name of the game is called CHEAT if you don't know how to play we'll teach you by the AFL. Firstly, hand over your wallet. Thanks very much. The f...

Re: Do Hibberd and Townsend Represent an New Hard Nut Squad Strategy?

To true nudder but we are neither a champion team nor a team of champions. There are some very good footballers for sure, but ⅔ of our list are chumps... As for Hibberd and Townsend, if they bring that to the rest of the squad and don’t get a game, maybe they did serve their purpose, but IMO, that’...

Re: Joe Daniher's Groin and the Implications

Justin Crow has a lot to answer for, Joe should never have been allowed to play as soon as the problem became obvious. It obviously wasn't obvious until it became even more obvious. Some of the boys reckon he's got an obvious groin. Maybe the physio's were looking at the wrong bit. It happens!

Re: Predictions for 2020

When you’re ready guys, towards the end of the month,or even Mid February we can perhaps make a closer analysis of ESSENDON’S chances of Success in 2020.I know our feelings about that haven’t been flattering so far,but perhaps those closer to The Club can re-assess your earlier predictions? Those cl...

Re: 2019 EXTREME HEATWAVE!

Young bloke up here in the Bega Valley Shire volunteer for the RFS fights a fire and then lights half a dozen fires. Is caught doing it and gets BAIL , FMD. People with a history of arson should have the book thrown at them and locked up the whole of summer and fire season if necessary. Also, ought ...

Just wondering if this new Hibberd is related to Michael Hibberd who left us and went to Melbourne? Curious!

Up to the Legislators to tighten up Laws Fast, even in this case make them Retrospective,so Magistrates have NO room to manoeuvre. This might seem drastic in the legal world, but it’s time to deal with CRETINS who threaten PUBLIC and LIVES,HARSHLY! Not interested in any Sib Stories, nor should any Mag...

Re: bush fires in nsw. I am in Merimbula.

Yes we had ten mills of rain, just enough to wash the ash of the garden and veggies. More in other places but not enough we've heard about to put any fires out. When are these do-gooders magistrates and judges going to lock people up who insist on lightning fires. An implant I reckon so they can be ...

Re: Bush fires in nsw. I am in Merimbula.

Many of these fires were dry lightning strikes. This fire generates its own climate and wind storm. Some of the flames were 70 metres high, yes you read that correctly 70 metres high. It also has the power and energy to spot fire 30 - 35 kms in front of itself. Very scary indeed. These firies deserv...

bush fires in nsw. I am in Merimbula.

Its pretty tense up here just waiting for whatever comes next??? At the same time we are relatively calm considering the circumstances. At 5ish today the sky went yellowish green then blood orange crimson and then blackest black you'll ever see. Can't see f'n anything but black. The smell of burning...

Re: Predictions for 2020

I predict, I won't feel any more confident that we will come on with the changes in 2019 the way some expect we will. I wish I could feel more positive. I have this sense of dread. With the injuries we have this early, the signs are ominous that 2020 is going to be another snakes and ladders year. P...
