Re: 4th Best Defence - 10th Best Attack

When our goal kicking improves and it must if we are to move up the ladder and stay there. Our skills have been letting us down big time.
If we can start kicking what we've been missing we will move up the ladder quickly and will be harder to compete against.

This young man is a real keeper. It will be interesting to watch him grow into a 200 game player.

Re: Adam Goodes Real Problem

grassy1 - it should not be the problem but it is and there is more of it than people realise. Racism operates both ways and anyone who thinks it doesn't is sadly mistaken. When I was a small child walking along the street with my Dad, people would stare and make a comment because he was black and I ...

Re: The protected one

Let's just make it easy for us poor dummies who can't get clear on the rules..... ANYONE who indulges in head high contact with anyone else is guilty automatically and will get a week's holiday. Concuss someone even accidently on purpose 3 weeks. Whoever you are NO more playing favourites AFL you al...

Re: R11 Essendon v Carlton

Our women's team has more grit and guts than our blokes. The first half against Carlton was so terrible they ought to be made to watch it the whole weekend of the bye. If only to show them how painful it was such poor skills by both sides. Professional footballers. Our kid players ran rings around o...

Re: Clanger Hangar 2019

That is really bad. Good figures if you want to get rid of the coach tho. If we could get that 10% better it would be a lot of improvement but honestly we have a long way to go to gest onto the final series and play for the cup. A long, long, way, if you want to rock and roll.

Re: Coaching Dominoes about to Fall

I have no confidence in our CEO, X, he may have done whatever in terms of other things at the EFC but in terms on the EFC being a footy club, he's done bugger all. And all in due time, the AFL will probably reward him for it as they have with others. There is nothing much that's inspiring about Woos...

Re: R11 Essendon v Carlton

Our skills are very bad. Gods help us when the rain comes. This game is pathetic. What has happened to the players???

NOT PLAYING FOR THE COACH,
NOT PLAYING FOR EACH OTHER,
DEFINATELY NOT PLAYING FOR THE SUPPORTERS/MEMBERS.

Is there anyone out on that ground who actually gives a sh1t???

Re: The fitness staff, the coach, the saga, the vibe, Brexit blah blah blah

I hear you Robbie but what do you do when the club, the board, the coaches, the players, aren't listening? The only thing you as a supporter or a Member can do, is to vote with your feet and put your credit card in your pocket. The numbers will drop off as the club does. Our beloved club has become ...

Re: Where to from here?

At least we have each other to speak to. However let's get one thing clear no matter what we feel, think or say, the Board have blinkers. They are not planning on doing anything and if they think anything like the last Board did, they certainly do not want to be playing coaches out or players out. A...

Re: R11 Essendon v Carlton

I doubt the club will play mozzie, he might get broken in half. He's not ready they say. I think Tbell is playing injured, not sure ankle or calf but anyway. He is not the only player playing poorly, we've got a couple of spuds currently. Our injury list is growing by the week, any chance we might r...

Re: Open Letter to John Worsfold

Unlike Brad Scott who stepped down in the interests of the club and the players - don't bet your house on him doing that. If he has lost money through bad investments, he is unlikely to go until he is pushed. Hate to say it but that's how I see it. This coach has not taken responsibility for one dam...

Re: Who's on modified training?

Injuries or not - we are done this season. Injuries should not be an excuse there are clubs with more injured than us. Richmond, Melbourne, Collingwood heading the list and then more with less.

What rotten luck Devon. Good luck with surgery and rehab, see you again in 2020. However it does give one of our young players an opportunity.
Who will it be? And who will we choose in the draft?

If Abbott were to win another Brownlow he would be the only triple Brownlow Medallist playing and isn't the other triple alive Robert Harvey? Speaking of protected species - the rules are the rules like up the shaking pole incident - either apply them as they are written or change the wording then e...

Re: R9 Essendon v Fremantle

One thing I can say, when the umpies did their trick yet again and gave Freo two very blatant free kicks that should have been ours. And; this time once again, the commentator's thought so too and said it. I thought, I did thought pet, I thought love, I thought fmd here we go again. But; give our bl...

Re: R9 Essendon v Fremantle

We must be really desperate if Zac Clarke is an emergency. Or do they plan on playing Joey some of the time in the ruck? As a tap ruckman he's o.k. but then what? I suppose we use him as a clothes horse or hat stand? His kicking is the worst I have seen in a long time, he makes some of our blokes lo...
