Re: Who do we want?

2018 was a breakout year for our interstate endeavours. Only Fremantle game was our fading point.
We need to play better at the MCG. Win Anzac Day. Win Dreamtime. Stay positive and win finals.
Collingwood & Richmond is very good at the MCG. No surprise on their end result.

Re: Pick 1

I have absolutely no idea of the players in the draft other than names being mentioned. I believe we need a player that has the presence to completely change a game within the space of a quarter. Whilst a gun midfielder or forward holds trade currency it doesn't always translate into success if they...

Re: Hawthorn Imploding

Hawthorn have screwed over some of their biggest players by nudging them out 'for the good of their future'. No doubt Hawthorn will be very strong in the next 24 months and have every opportunity to build yet another dynasty. If Mitchell, Vickery & O'Meara play majority of games without injury they ...

Re: Pick 1

I'd happily trade out pick 5 over pick 7 if we were looking at darling trade.
Pick 7 has all the luck

Re: Umpiring

Haha. I didn't make me t until quarter time. The only decision which made me livid was #28 for Richmond ducking into a tackle in our pocket. We had momentum, I was dirty at #28 for the rest of the match after that. Soft. I was livid with Martin for just being a pig of a man and being rewarded best o...

Re: Umpiring

I know a doggies supporter who goes most weeks and tells me their players are really good a dropping their knees as mentioned above. He says that they get head high free kicks really often because they're so good at it. The umpires are still dishing them out by the looks of it. Btw, are we getting a...

Re: Shit Stained Canaries

I hope they don't win a 3rd in a row, but there's a pretty good chance that they'll win 4 or 5 or even 6 in a row.
Wouldn't surprise me if Dangerfield was traded to them too.

I'm very envious of their list management. They just keep getting everyone up at the right time of year.

Re: The BOOOOOING Thread

Was at the game on Saturday and Eddie Betts was just making me angry because he's ex-Carlton and after he got a random free kick we thought was going to our backmen - which he kicked yet another goal, I was about to give a boooo to him, but thinking before I did it - I thought "People may find booin...

I really feel for him, he's obviously got many issues to deal with. He needs all the support he can get.

Re: Trades 2014

Ugh, this is becoming embarrassing. Hawthorn trading O’Rourke in for picks 19 and 40.
Like they really need a midfielder of #2 draft pick quality.

How many years are we going to have to endure more Hawthorn/Sydney?
At least our peptides soap opera is giving us something else to talk about.

Dawks are now equal 4th for flags.

Was referencing Wikipedia today and noticed that: Last weeks win by the Dawks pushes them to equal 4th on the list of premierships, now standing at 12, and only 4 away from Essendon's tally of 16. What is quite incredible is that they've won all 12 premierships in the past 52 years. Collingwood achi...

Mitch Clark possibility

If Mitch Clark trains the house down pre-season would we consider adding him?
If Paddy does decide to leave, we are going to need someone to help Bellchambers share the load, and if Paddy stays could Clark give us another option up forward.

They have to keep him in, so that we can tease him even more, and he also increases St Kilda's chances of winning

Re: Collingwood - Premiers 2010

Yeah doggies can't possibly beat the Pies, but Saints could suffocate their style and we could have another rugby style grand final.

The only good thing of this thrashing tonight, could be the ferals thinking they're absolute certainties next week, and hopefully they get done.
There is still hope

Re: Collingwood - Premiers 2010

I'm hoping like crazy that Geelong win, but i have this sick feeling that Collingwood will win, as they are at full strength and rested. Saints were on top all of 09 and barely lost the GF, so I wouldn't be surprised if they take it out this year based on hunger (not capability). If the Pies lose th...

Re: Commentators who shit me

Without doubt it is Robert Walls. 5 minutes into the opening Richmond/Carlton game, Lloyd asks the question to the commentry team along the lines of 'Carlton have got a quick start, if you were Hardwick, do you put the veterans in the middle to show some leadership, or try the young kids in there?'....

Carlton - you've cost be the footy tipping for 2009

In years gone by, i've tipped with my heart not with my head. There i've never tipped the blues until this season when i decided to mix things up. Not being convinced over the past 3 week with the Blues, i've tippped against them and slowly moving form top to 3rd in my work tipping comp ($500). So t...

Ripping match, I can't thank the gents out there enough tonight for sticking it to the scumbags. It was truly a beautiful sight to see. Hopefully the morons at Carlton can start thinking about those draft picks again.

Re: 2009 - The season of nightmares /Carlton related

Well hopefully after our win today, we could really have a crack at them.
Can't attend next week due to the built-up rage I have against Carlton supporters at the moment, and I could not cope hearing their song again, even prior to the match.

For world peace, please don't let the scum win.

2009 - The season of nightmares /Carlton related

Carlton pumping Richmond last week - fairs enough, Richmond were woeful. Carlton 41 pts infront of Brisbane at 1/2 time - round 2. I've been sick in my stomach before, but this is more than that. This is a nightmare come true. Carlton winning first 2 games of the season. If they win again for a 3rd ...
