Re: Bendigo vs Casey
I'm afraid I get rather confused with all these grounds identified only with sponsors names (put it down to senility I guess)...but where exactly is Casey fields...is it per chance the old Cranbourne Footy ground?

With "feiends" like you Turncote and those other Scum like embarrassments in the crowd...who'd need enemies. As a proud and passionate Bomber fan of over 50 years I am personally deeply embarrassed by this disgusting behaviour. My missus (who could be Pres of the anti football league) will...

Has filled out physically too. Looks like a good cut of a footballer now whereas in the past...well...he didn't. There is no doubt this bigger and harder body has made an enormous difference to his game.

Re: Essendon v Gold Coast Match Thread
Personally, I cannot escape the feeling that we are almost on a hiding to nothing today. If they get anywhere near us at any stage, questions will be asked and confidences will be shaken. We'd need to win by at the very least, 10 goals to come away from this game feeling anywhere near satisfied.

I still reckon we gotta try and get SOME sort of value from him FFS, particularly if Ryder and Hurley continue to struggle as they have over the past couple of weeks. With arguably some relatively easier games coming up I will be looking for Paddy and Hurley to start to turn their games around. If t...

Has almost become the forgotten man at Windy Hill. I know he's done SFA this season with Bendigo. But he does have impeccable credentials.... Theoretically at least, he'd be the best performed full forward on our list given his record at Hawthorn. What do you blokes reckon...Would it be a bridge too...

Re: Simon Madden got dropped.
Yep, I too like the idea of Paddy at CHB. While Hooker may be a tad bigger, and don't get me wrong I like him, he has plenty of heart, can read the play well and take a good grab but he doesn't have anything like Paddy's motor or mobility and that is what told against Cale on Monday and I'd suggest,...

Re: Sinon Madden got dropped.
He WAS being seriously held when he dropped that mark in the last. It certainly looked like he'd dropped what was almost a sitter watching it live but on the replay you could see that he virturally had only one arm free...shoulda been a free. But, having said that, yeah...he needs to lift quite a fe...

I thought he'd be a monty to play against the Saints today. Instead they play him up there at the north pole (oops I mean Nth Ballarat) no wonder he did it (his hammy) Having lived there for many years that Nth Ballarat oval would have to be the coldest/windy-est most inhospitable place you could ev...

Re: No shit Vlad
More and more I'm coming to the conclusion that the game is becoming far too controlled and contrived and by extension corrupt. It's happening in cricket, I think we delude ouselves if we think it can't happen in what really is, by comparison a bit of a tinpot organisation that is the AFL. The suits...

Once again it's Sydney in Sydney. I think I read a stat last season where we had only played Sydney in Melbourne something like 3 or 4 times in the last 10 years FFS ![Mad :x](./images/smilies/icon_mad.gif)

Yes...Bob Shearman. My eyes still glaze over when I think of him...could have been absolutely anything. Gone from the club way too soon at 21 and then of course, far,far too soon at just 59. You could knocked me over with a feather when I first read of his death just a few years ago....What a player...
