Re: The Weapon Sacked?

The thing that really worries me and a point that I think a lot of us have forgotten is that our soft tissue problems haven't just started this season, they've been happening for years. The point I'm making is that a lot of our blokes were already bent and now because of the club's gross incompetanc...

Re: Memberships for 2013

McClure only mentioned Licha as kind of his (McClure's) own example of the type of name that might theoretically be mentioned in any litigation that might arise....it was not meant to be a specific allegation about Winderlich. McClure, I think, was trying to highlight the gravity of Essendon's stuff...

Re: Memberships for 2013

Did anyone hear Mark McClure (who I actually rate pretty highly despite the fact of who he played for) mentioning the word "litigation" in relation to all our injured players on the weekend. He mentioned Winderlich's name in particular. He commented that players managers may consider litig...

One of these days, and I pray to God that I'm wrong here but one day, the Taliban or insurgents or Al Kaeda, Rogues, or just a plain nutter acting alone..call them what you want are/is going to say...Stuff you Australia...You invade our lands and attack and kill our people (including no doubt total ...

Anyone catch the report on 774 this arvo? Bombers to talk to him this coming Tuesday. There's also a report in todays Geelong Addy that his manager Ricky O has said there has been an enquiry from just one Melbourne based club and that he was surprised at who the club was...kinda fits Just one questi...

Re: Did Chris Scott...

Yes, all of the above is true but it has to be said that ONCE AGAIN Geelong have had a dream run with injuries this season. Apart from Menzel (who?) they've had some injuries this season butagain their core group, the Bartels, Lings, Scarlets, Johnsons (Miracle man I'm calling him now and that's not...

I think you'll find a bloke by the name of John Newman,(Sadly not the one we all hate and loathe) a NSW labor MP was this country's first political assassination back in the 70's Filth. I see there's a new book out now about it....Called A Political Assassination...I think

HOORAY, FINALLY!!... Been locked out of the system for nearly a week now. Anyway, to the topic...Yes Filth, looks a pretty handy list ON PAPER but wont mean a thing if we cannnot work out a way to overcome our injury curse...I know I can be accused of banging on too much about this issue, but to me,...

Re: Scott Gumbleton

As I've commented previously, I certainly haven't seen much of the Bendigo Bombers this season...one game to be precise...the elim final. But if that's atypical of how that side performs generally then for mine, there's little wonder Gumby struggles to shine. As forward, the delivery into his half o...

Re: Let it Burn and Learn from the Humiliation

just so totally over it...A case of same old same old this season on the injury front, only worse. I can never get over how Geelong seem to get by year after year with SFA injuries...Even given the bad one they copped on Fri...a promising youngster certainly, but hardly one of their keys. IMO given ...

Re: Elim Final- Bendigo vs Bullants

Don't get the chance to see Bendigo much...certainly not missing much. Gees that was a VERY ORDINARY GAME bearing in mind that it was a final. I must say, from what I've seen of VFL games in general I'm amazed at the overall standard...IMO it's little better than country footy standard, in fact I re...

Jones (the man who gives megalamaina a bad name) Bolt, Smith et al...little more than fifth columnists in my view. High time Labor started carrying the fight to these rednecks. Some of the bile that Jones in particular spews forth with, borders on sedition IMHO

Re: For the sake of democracy....

The problem I have with so much of what you and your kind say about the ABC and Fairfax Bertie is that you adopt dear old Dubya's mantra of "If you're not with us you're against us" i.e. If ANY views expressed by these media organisations are not ALWAYS pro conservative then they must ther...

The longer I watch this game the more convinced I become that there is something seriously smelly going on. Look at the wanker that blew the Mil on tonights game...you can't tell me that someone with that kind money and no doubt, clout couldn't or wouldn't do all within their power to ensure that th...

Was nearly going to post after the team was announced that the forced ins and outs had actually made us a much quicker unit but really was just too pissed off to be bothered. Jobe of course is an integral part of our best 22 but you throw Myers, and Lonergan (as much as I love his good old G&D) ...

Would have to be one of Tony's mates you'd reckon. Good solid working class stock don't have that kind of money to blow....do they Bert  Same punter will probably squeal like a stuffed pig when he/she has to pay a couple of extra dollars from his/her wad when the carbon tax comes in.
