Re: Kepler, kepler man...

Kepler is a donkey.

I saw parts of the game and not much has changed. Still lanky and uncordinated, but he is a tall, they take longer to develop. I will judge him after he plays 150 games. Some are late bloomers.

Re: Stanton

Stanton is soft. Its really pissing me off. Cant tackle, wont put his body on the line even though he has bulked up considerably. His kicking has improved over the years, but he is in poor form right now, regardless of what anyone says. WTF is up with Lloyd. Looks like shite. It actualy quite sad, h...

Re: We would have won that game.

The message should have been sent to slow things down for a few minutes. Give our players a little breather. Playing a little keepings off. Couldnt continue with the run and gun. Dogs dont have many out. West seems to be the only notable. Wait until we get a decent run with the injuries, we have the...

Re: 9 BAD Injuries

Yeah Filth, this isnt looking good at all. players dropping like flies. Im not sure how Bendigo went on the weekend, but probably Welsh will be back for Essendon this week to take on the Dogs. Westy being injured will surely help, considering we have been getting flogged in the middle. Maybe just on...

Best job at the draft table ever?

The players we drafted in 2006 are all turning out to be players. Houli Reimers Jetta Gumby Hislop They all look like they will be around for a while. All pretty skillful too. Its obviously too early to say its the best group we have drafted yet...but its looking good. Its really given the club some...

Re: Round 1 vs North Melbourne Match Preview Thread

I am going to bring a shinbone to the game...and after we smash Nth I am going to break that shin bone in full view of a bunch of Nth supporters  Cant stand Nth. I saw Nths line up...They dont have any players that can hold our bigs. Firrito and Gibson as KP backmen. Throw chook or hilley down...

Re: Jacobs retires

Ben,

We ended up getting Kepler Donkey for DJ.
Then we delisted Kep...so we essentially got nothing to show for it.

Danny wanted more than he was worth. So we traded him. He is not a KPP either. Solid loose man in defence with a good over head mark. Wise player who used the ball well too.

Hey Rosso,

Do you play poker online? Because I saw someone using the same handle as yours here, it was xrossonerix I think. Is that you?

We still have a very potent forward line and a good defence...at least IMO we do.

F Lovett Lloyd Davey
HF McPhee Lucas Gumbleton

HB Nash Fletcher ??NLM??
FB Ryder MM Slattery

The midfield will again pose the biggest problem for the EFC this season.

KB is a donkey.

The only thing he will prove is we wasted a good draft pick. Guy is useless, down back or up front. He wont do jack at freo accept make Harvs look like a moron for picking him up.

Kouta should shut his f****** mouth and stick to making souvlaki from low-grade lamb.
LMAO
tick to what you know best Kouta, shredding lamb off the bone while making sure you dont wear a hair net as it will mess up your hair.
Seriously gave me a nice little chuckle they did. Cheers rosso.

Great article. Has me excited for next year. "He's one I want to settle down in a role and give him confidence that he knows I'm going to support him in that role over a period of time. I think he's a must to have in that midfield rotation area that can play at least 80-90 minutes game time.&qu...

Campo retired. Bolton retired. COle was a drunk. SO basically two of those names, if Essendon had a hand in in forcing them out, would have nominated for the Draft, if they thought they could continue on. Based on that they made decision on ther own to retire. THEREFORE, your list of names 'ealesy'...

Knights said no, thought it was disrespectful and Dyson signed on for 2 years with us. I like that. Sends a message, we wont be bent over. Still don't understand Dyson over Bradley. Bizarre decision - both are from the 2003 draft and everyone knows that you have to be more patient with the big guys...

All this over Bradley.

The guy was a clutz, and will never be a player. I for one am glad he is no longer on the list, he was a hack. Even after playing under Knighta and winning the B&F, Knights still didnt want him. That should say it all.
