we dont always see eye to eye filthy, but i agree with you 100% on this. I hate the way clement gets lauded as 'the best in the business" when it comes to playing and beating his man from behind. Its bs...he was pushing in the back 75% of the time. I remember when he did it to Hirdy 3 times in ...

Caro owned by fellow Age Colleague

Just read this article by Caro's fellow Age colleague, Jake Niall. Caro was owned in regards to her accessment of the whole Mal Michael fiasco. Here it is - Mal practice or not, Michael will line up with Dons Jake Niall November 28, 2006 NO AMOUNT of protest, public outrage or calls for royal commis...

So now rosso, you can now take your indignation about his near reprieve...And STFU. rosso has never bagged Henno the person, just henno the footy player, which he has every right to do. People around here are so touchy. Fact of the matter is that Henno had no game...period and was kept on the list ...

Ah DC.... good to see you are still around to take cheap shots at everyone elses contributions Taking cheap shots at everyone elses contributions? 'Everyone' is exhaustive, and I have in no way, shape or form done this. I take shots at ANY ridiculous statement made. Secondly you seem to be the chie...

I believe we have a ready made CHB in Laycock. Big strong straight ahead type player. He is simply too injury prone to make the ruck his position. However, CHB (the easiest position on the ground to master) is a relatively injury free zone. Laycock has the size to go with Hall, Brown Trdrea etc and...

Like Rambo said, "They drew first blood", when gilbee was deliberitely kneed in the head causing him to require 4 stiches. Obviously there were cheap shots by Ireland in the first game and I was surprised how unphysical the first game was played by the Aussies. Ireland started it, we finis...

Good to hear. McPhee WILL NOT be back to AA form this year if he is played all over the shop like last season. McPhee is NOT an AA midfielder, and expressed to Sheedy that he DID NOT want to simply play on the HBF, but play more in the midfiled. Where he plays will determine how much impact he will ...

Sam Hunt - The Second Coming

Up early in the morning chaps and read this:

Former Essendon defender Sam Hunt is expected to be promoted from the rookie list after impressing in the VFL.

Thoughts?

Did the Dons let go of Sammy to early? They played him about 5 times I think. I thought he deserved more games.

I personally think Thornton is overrated. Played a few good games this year, but I dont wont him. Like others have said, Id rather try Lee. Give Lee the same oportunity that KB had to hold down CHB. Plus for the future we will have either one of Hansen or Gumbleton. Its not as bleak as it seems. But...

If we trade away Solly, JJ and maybe McPhee?

We is our toughness going to come from with such a young team coming through? Graham Polak? :|

I agree with F111. I think Tarrant is a good player that would definately help either WCE or Freo. Collingwood have been too stupid to realise that he isnt a FF and that he cant kick enough per year to be dominant there. On a HFF or even pushed up into the midfield on a wing or something. He is a go...
