It is obvious that Slattery and Winder should not be playing ATM - why they persist with injured blokes is beyond me.
There is no one else to bring to replace them...they are injured or out of favour/form.

Re: Slattery

Hop said it about slattery and his foot. i am going to say it again: He has infection in his foot, if we had a normal injury list, HE WOULD BE ON IT . Due to the size of our injury list, and lack of stoppers and small defenders, the club has no choice but to play him. It is affecting his performance...

Too Small, Not Good Enough

Anyone notice how physically weak we were today? Every time we got tackled the swans player pinned our players and we couldn't get the ball to advantage. Whenever we laid a tackle, the swans either brushed us off, or got their hands/arms free and knocked the ball to advantage. Lot of work to be done...

Some People do Dom and so does the AFL The Legends category is reserved for those who are deemed to have had a positive impact on the game of Australian rules. The title of Legend is intended to be bestowed on no more than 10% of the total inductees of the Hall of Fame (the actual percentage of &quo...

Re: 4 out the Door at Season's End

Monfries- lacks confidence, still a very good footballer, just needs some confidence. He is busting his ass out there, but it is not happening for him. Dyson- backs himself, willing to run straight and kick long....exactly what we need right now Johns- Was ok last night, may improve Rama- Give they ...

Re: No Reward for Effort

Worst performance by a group of umpires i have seen. My cousin was at the game (power supporter unfortunately) even she said we got screwed. The 3 of them should be sacked, and Jeff "I accepted SHIT as a coach and now as the umpires director" Gieshen needs to go. Why they employ one of the...

Johns

Was serviceable against Tredders..did a couple of nice things.

A better FB than FF or CHF...give him a few more games at B and see what happens....only against the bigger power forwards

Re: Contract extensions for Jetta, Slattery and Myers

The note about Slattery is true, 100% true.

Our families are very good friends, went to school with his eldest and his parents live close to my parents, very close

P.S Thought he did a bloody good Job on Burgoyne, not bad considering he was in bed with the flu until it was time to get to the ground

Re: Port next..with who?

looks we are going to have to pull the boots on.... Also heard that a few players are playing with niggling injuries and the only reason that they are playing is becuase they are not as serious as the blokes who are on the injury list. One i heard is slattery...he has an infected foot. If we had a n...

Poor Ol' Collingwood

According to Sports Tonight, Collingwood are LIMPING into the ANZAC Day Clash!! Does Eddie have shares in Channel 10 as well? What a load of shit, they got 4 players under an injury cloud Didak, Rocca, Swan and Burns. Pretty good palyers mind you, but only 4 and they are limping. What are we then? C...

Re: Lloyd V Lucas- Hypothetical

Understand Robbie,

Just a hypothetical that's all.

Just want Llyod to regain what he had, what made the best FF in the league, the dukes, the hardness, the tackles, the bumps...something is missing, not bagging him

Lloyd V Lucas- Hypothetical

Who is more important to us right now? Personally i would have preferred to have LLyod go down rather that Lucas. Scotty tries harder, works harder and keeps his feet more than Lloyd. Lloyd is down on confidence. We needed him to stand up a bit more against the Saints (i was in WA, didn't see all of...

I think Pev will be dropped and CJ in, If not then unfortunately his career is over. Did a bloody good job to get back playing, showed heaps just doing that. Imagine being told your finished?? Lot of courage and balls to get back and do it. Just a shame he hasn;t shown the same aggression and desire...

nomolos, i haven't forget how mcphee won the B&F, not asking him for to be dropped after one bad game either Mcveigh failed to stop Ablett too, shall we have a go at him too? After halftime the entire Geelong side had 15 possessions per player and kicked a goal each (cept Mooney, Paddy was aweso...
