Shiel gets his spot I'm guessing. He didn't do too much in the twos but he's had the run.

Re: 2024 R6, EFC v Adelaide

Is his shoulder damaged anyhow? Likely out on that basis if so. I did notice him on the backline at one point and he was staying close to Liberatore. Surprized to see but he looked like he was doing it ok.

Maybe we ought to just pick a good jumper and wear it every year?

Well, that ended up as a storm in a teacup! It is if pollies in the Major Parties won't get their head out of their arse and the Clubs table the Documents.Despite what AFL Doctors say, just how much rehabilitation do the usual suspects 1% need, before they test the patience of others once that suppor...

Re: Injury list 2024

Shiel due back via the twos. Dylan Shiel and Tex Wanganeen will both return via the VFL this weekend, provided they complete a full week of training. Shiel has overcome the oblique strain that sidelined him over the past fortnight, while Wanganeen is set for competitive action for the first time th...

Re: The back six.

I’m not a fan of Marto in defence. To me, it’s stupid having a guy with natural flair and skill to win the ball, create space, then nail passes or goals with precision, sitting in defence. I'll try the same line regarding a couple of Indigenous kids my way,Benny. Throw Duursma back there for drying...

Re: The back six.

Our defense was not helped by the regular quick exit of the ball from our forward zone and rapid transition. Rinse, repeat. #-o ](*,) Having Riddles, Reid, Baldwin unavailable has demolished the start to the season. Three big bods... Saints game gave some hope, albeit late in the game. McKay...

Re: 2024 Round 4, EFC v Port Adelaide

Q1 we weren't too bad. We should've been even better. Menzie hit the post from an easy set shot. Hobbs tended to turn the ball over twice as often as not. Our Q1 F50 time was very good, but we allowed too many easy exits throughout the whole game. Generally, we belted the ball forward without a rea...

Re: 2024 Round 4, EFC v Port Adelaide

Basic skill errors from us are intolerable. Also, the timidity of people not backing themselves. Was it Setterfield or Caldwell who should have slotted a goal but instead kicked it high so the port talls could get it? Hind just passed one off, towards the boundary, running to an almost open goal fr...
