Some positive thinking for Bomber Fans v Carlton
Hi all. Our wins have been a pretty scratchy but there are some good things on the rise: 1. Tayte Pears looked to be getting in form in the last 3 quarters of the GC game 2. Leroy Jetta is spark of joy whenever he is near the ball 3. EFC have a great key position spine , with multiple options 4. the...

Project Jay Neagle Version 2011
Dear new Essendon Coaches, Last year I posted a suggestion that Jay Neagle be introduced to Jobe's Boxing Coach. Given this is Jay's last chance I believe he needs: 1. learn to run and run (Hirdy and Stu McCormack) 2. learn where to run (Hirdy and Simon Goodwin) 3. lose weight (Jobe's Boxing Coach a...

Re: Its ANZAC Day - Keep The Faith
Last Anzac Day will NOT happen again without: 1. tight and committed back line (that means you Courtney Dempsey!) 2. Gumbleton rested to get form in the VFL ; Welsh, Williams, Houli, Colyer OUT 3. McVeigh, Stanton, Monfries, Tyson Slattery, Laycock or Neagle IN If we cannot score or even take a cont...

Re: Gumby
I am happy to be patient with Gumby BUT what has happened to his KICKING style? He seemed to throw the ball up in the air which caused it to go ballisticy straight up in air. I thought he was good kick? ![Embarassed ](./images/smilies/icon_redface.gif)

Let's get Nathan Brown!
What an idea for a Forward Pocket. If his groin is fixed he would a brilliant experienced player to guide our crappy small forwards. 2 years or 20 games would be perfect. Fletch at one end and Brownie the other.

Winda- I am now worried!
Jason Winderlich is one one favorite players but I am bemused by his interview with MMM. He showed no concern or disappointment. It was very "by the way"! Licha even suggestive the Coach was not upset. How can that be? Given the occasion our worst defeat in years and we can't get ourselves...

Sorry Scotty but it is over!
Sorry to say it but the career of a great Essendon champion is over. Too slow, too cumbersome and has lost leading skill. Bye Bye Scotty !
Hurley is the answer in the forward line, until Neagle and Gumbleton show something!

Changes for Sydney-hard but fair
Dear all, it is wonderful when the Bombers have to make hard decisions!!!!!!!! :D In: Watson , McVeigh , Hurley and Bellchambers Out: Skipworth, Hocking, Slattery (or Lovett-Murray), Lucas (or Hooker) Why: Watson and McVeigh obvious, Hurley has a body and ability, and we need a second "real&quo...

The truth re Laycock (and Fletcher)
Someone on the other Bomber web site have said that Jason Laycock has stress fractures in his OTHER FOOT! Can someone who knows please confirm the real story -- listening EFC? :( The same applies to Fletcher's injury status, no one gives an accurate update, it always seems to be 2 weeks-----listenin...

Dustin Fletchers Leg Injury- Accurate Information
Hi Bomber supporters,
Every time I look at a report it says Dustin is 3-4 weeks away. He was injured 3 weeks ago and we were told it was a 3-4 week injury because it was small crack. Can someone at the Club, members or medical staff please give an "accurate" assessment?![Rolling Eyes ](./images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif)

Re: Anzac Day Clash: Essendon vs Collingwood Preview
After listening to everyone (Lucas needs one more week and deserves the Anzac Day honor) I say: Must Ins: -Bellchambers (to release Ryder and replace McPhee)***** we can't play with one ruck man!!!!!! -Cale Hooker (to replace Daniher or Pears) -Lonergan or Hocking (to replace Dyson) -Lovett-Murray (...

Re: Scott Lucas for Centre Half Back
Thanks all the comments BUT are we calling Scotty slow because of the last game. He is coming off a dodgy knee and it was his first game! His long strides and natural athleticism means he will keep up when he gets some games into his legs. Is there any data to suggest that Scott has actually slowed ...

Scott Lucas for Centre Half Back
Dear Bombers Supporters,
Can I please encourage everyone to support my push for Scott to go to CHB ! Please tell the coaches!
Think of this , Fletcher, Ryder, Lucas, Dempsey plus 2 others -awesome !!!!!
Why do we need or want a forward line of 4 talls plus a resting Hille!

...need a body full back.. Jason Cloke???
I wonder whether Jason, who has taken off weight and is bit quicker could fill a gap to take the big opposition forwards? Others thoughts would be appreciated. Even if we get Hurley he will be raw.

How did we forget Jason Laycock?
Everyone seems to have got praise except Jason Laycock, who was given the unenviable job of stopping the Freo ruckmen going forward. He also rucked very well when called upon.
Let us all give praise where praise is due. Let's finally get on Jason's band wagon because he deserves it!!! =D> =D>

The real issue is why does Gumby want to go back to the West? What is failing in our medical/player welfare sytem? Can someone give a real answer and not a rumour?

Please don't get the Doctor wrong. I was not saying Darcy Daniher was no good. I was just saying I did not see the magic!
Also I forgot to mention Jay "Merv" Neagle- what beautiful hands, kick, persisttence BUT does he have the ENDURANCE?
