That's called hubris, they make a bit of money and now they think they are geniuses. Sadly there does not seem to be a process to fix this

Red shorts with the normal guernsey was the way to go, but the AFL did not want to lose face.

Well he should finish higher than 10th like last year....which I thought was a real kick in the guts for his outstanding efforts. Well, it was ninth if I remember well, not that it matters. This is why I made the comment on McVeigh's improving stats, I felt the B&F was awarded with too strong c...

The guy is a class act. He's been a top quality performer for about 3 years now IMO. He does the shut down jobs beautifully and also provides excellent drive with his magnificent disposal. I though he was a show off at the start of his career, and a bit of a smart ass...... but he's matured into ge...

I think they (The AFL, The Giesh) finally realize that changing rules and adding stupid new one is not such a good idea. So they are starting to backtrack big time McVeigh's mark is quite typical of what fans expect of a speccy. Tell the fan such a mark is now a free and it gives a lot of ammunition...

You need to learn the distinction between an excuse and a plausible reason. One of those terms explains the logic behind a set of factual outcomes, the other of those terms describes a set of exculpatory factors that somehow attempt to reduce the blameworthiness of someone or something. ...

Sounds highly unlikely, since Gumby is not named as an emergency the club would have to pay a fine. I know Sheeds likes mind game but this sounds too farfetched.

That's the problem, I am worried, things just look too good. We cannot enter this game thinking it will be easy, it won't be.

Still hope that Essendon wins by 99 point like in R21 '05.

I used to have the greatest admiration for the man but that was ten years ago. Do politicians in power lose touch and common sense so quickly, I don't know? I am no big fan of "political correctness", but it is always a mistake to oversimplify complex problems which apparently Blair did bi...

Maybe they didn't, but they are certainly doing a much better job of it than any other club.

Look (or rather don't look) at the pathetic AFL/Telstra imposed website of the 15 other clubs.

Dissappointing maybe, but also understandable.
You don't want the election to be fought on a made for Howard topic, as Staggy correctly pointed out.
Too much at stake.

I loved Sheeds answer on BomberTV. When asked about Jetta's goal he pointed out that Hirdy and Lloyd - when they where young - would have done the same as Jetta.

Sorry Megan, you misunderstood. The Japanese language is used to transcribing english/foreign terms using syllabic katakana (which my program converted). The Japanese have been following baseball passionately both local and US for years using this technique and have been importing importing countles...
