No, but at less than $20 for a year it's one of the best deal in sport. It also comes free with some club memberships. :)

I disagree I thought it was good journalism. Written in plain language but to the point. I think the message was not so simplistic but more: Americans want someone who is no fool, who has charisma and who is humble enough they can trust him. Not your average nice guy, few of the recent presidents fi...

Obama is nothing short of brilliant. He is incredibly smart and can carry an audience with an articulated vision like few politicians can. He does not seem afraid to think out of the box which is refreshing. http://usliberals.about.com/od/extraordinaryspeeches/a/ObamaAIDS.htm IMHO Obama is backed by...

Totally agree with your sentiments, however, our strange match committee saw fit to give him a amazing amount of votes for him to be 5th in our B & F......ahead of Mark McVeigh, which was a total croc! Yeah, I was really surprised at the time, I refrained to comment because I had nothing nice t...

Do you think there's a spot in the 18 for Welsh? I'd personally have him at BP and have Cole competing with NLM for the HBF. based on last week form, Cole and NLM are ahead of Welsh but this is just February. I still think Welsh will make the 22 but any drop in form will see him play in the seconds...

A very similar article, also in the Age http://www.theage.com.au/news/national/hicks-torture-inquiry-sought/2007/02/07/1170524164102.html and a very interesting comment inside that should not be overlooked " Attorney-General Philip Ruddock said yesterday that Canberra could easily have asked th...

As for Sheedy going at the end of 2007, i feel it's dependant upon results. A top 4 finish would guarantee him another contract if he chose to take it, a top 8 finish would probably do likewise, a 9-12 finish would see him under significant pressure (particularly if the Board were unanimous in thei...

yes, agree, if Carlton can win it, it cannot/shouldnot be taken too seriously, but it can be a tool to give some confidence to the players and restart a winning culture. 2006 was rough on the players.

Oldie but goodie

Here is a link to the original dating back to 1994 and coming from Finland. Many jokes, look for "Cows", some are a bit different like Hong-Kong became Enron.

He is the reason BT became so shit. Not totally fair. The trouble came from the AFL top management that wanted total control on all 16 clubs website (both financial and editorial content) and avoid the legal burden of a discussion board (moderated or not) on an official website. Our club reacted un...

I think the argument is quite plausible. The Howard electorate is quite diverse and in the aftermath of a Lib defeat could well fall apart; I see four groups: 1/Voters who give undue credit to Howard for their current prosperity (due IMO to external factors) and would quickly discover that labor can...
