Re: Bendigo Bombers

McVeigh was in a mood to have 50 possies and kick 10 goals.
I understand Knight asked McVeigh to keep his enthusiasm for the most important Sydney game this coming Saturday and not risk his still fragile ankle.

Bendigo lost by almost 20 goals - time to ask questions.

Re: 25 YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF THE 1984/85 CHAMPS

I went to the function and it was bloody fantastic.

I hope all the current players and coaches learned something listening to the players and
watching the last quarter of the 84 GF.

Tim Watson is really an outstanding speaker.

Does anyone have a copy of Sheeds 3/4 time speech?

Re: Richard Wright Dies

I really value Robbie's musical taste and I quite often get the music he recommends on this board. I have not been disappointed and I am a big fan of Interpol, like Arcade Fire et.c but ... Robbie is a also stubborn bastard and he has decided once for all that Pink Floyd is not good. The reasoning i...

Re: McVeighs post game speech

This is wonderful Benny, what a great club and players we have! Three years ago I was really tired of the bagging Mark McVeigh received both on BB and here and I took the handle "spikefan". My son and I also started sponsoring Mark with the club -a great program. To my surprise because I h...

Re: Dyson: Straw that broke the camels back?

I was at the game too and completely agree.

Now Dyson has one year left on his contract, but I think with his great skills and endeavour he can easily find a new home at the Dees or the Swans. Both need young players

Re: Would you rather...?

You are a very smart guy Jimmy, but I am not so sure this is a smart alternative, too contrived. We need to rebuild a winning culture and I take any win against weak team - no reason whatsoever to lose again Melbourne and West Coast, we have struggled recently against Richmond and it would be good t...
