RIP Sisto Malaspina.

Next time I’m in town, I’ll drop off one of my thousand scarves at Pellegrini’s.

Re: Skip Bin Ordered @ Tullamarine

Bags one more year as per Woosha... not signed but will be Yes, heard him say that on SEN this evening. Even mentioned Sammy Draper getting games next year. Even said he was very close to getting a game v Port in round 23, but chose Luey instead. Lot better off exposing young blokes to battle - lik...

Good news.

He is a player that proved his commitment and adaptability in the past season.
Love the blokes who play a role.

To have said ciao to Bags would have been a bad sign.

Re: Skip Bin Ordered @ Tullamarine

He can count his lucky stars that he was even offered another go-round - peanuts or not. We shouldn't be looking at injury prone dinosaurs. Draft a 205cm kid (easier said than done though) Draper is on our rookie list: 203cm aged 20 Lavender is on our rookie list: 200cm aged 22 Draper had a good VF...

Re: 3 Players Under the Spotlight in 2019

mdso makes a great point about our non-reliance on Joey. Our season turned this year when he was out of the team. That's not to say he was the problem - HE IS A GUN - and a bonus when he comes back. However, we have shown we are not reliant upon him. The spotlight needs to be on: James Stewart - has...

Re: Vale the Mayor of Fumbledon

You'll like this Benny.

I quickly checked to see if 'Fumbles' had met the prerequisite 100 game total - in order for any future 'father-sons' to play for the club.....As we all know he'll never punch out a 100 games for another AFL club beyond this point.

In a twist of irony - he's played 87 games.

Re: Skip Bin Ordered @ Tullamarine

The only thing that makes sense to me is a back-up for insurance purposes and as a specialist ruck coach (like the big Russian did when we faced the Saga - and the year beyond).

Re: Young fringe players... who will make it?

On exposed form I would rate the following:

Aaron Francis
Matt Guelfi
Josh Begley
Kobe Mutch
Jordan Ridley

I would persist with these:

Mason Redman
Brandon Zerk-Thatcher
Dylan Clarke
Sam Draper

Re: 2018 AFL Finals Series

Both teams were impressive - but the best result happened in the end.. I'd rather the Priemership be on the other side of the Nullabor than in the hands of Collingwood, Richmond or Melbourne. What this all says to me, is that it's gunna be f***ing difficult to get a top 4 birth next year. I can't se...

Re: Skip Bin Ordered @ Tullamarine

Luey has to go and we need to find another young Ruckman in this draft.

Baggers should be given another year - he reinvented himself as a reliable small forward. He managed to get goals and put great pressure on the opposition smalls. With Green gone I don't see the need to get rid of him as well.

Yes - it was apparent to me that only after the media hype around Devon Smith (tackling machine - total game stats etc.) gained momentum in the second half of the year did he start to gain votes.

Zaka would have been leading until he did his shoulder - Smith took over at that point and was not headed.

Heppell
