Re: Eat it Scum.
How sweet it is! Had the ol' fist pump going. Beat 'em twice this year - I'm more than content with that. Carlton - I got some news for you - you are officially our bitch. So get down on your knees and let's see how well you suck! F#$k I'm happy!

should tear Cloke and Kreuzer new arseholes. Use your extra bulk and make sure you hurt those two pathetic excuses for ruckmen. I would be happy for you to try and intimidate them with a bit of extra aggression even if it means giving a couple of cheap free kicks away. Perhaps a knee in the ribs wou...

Memo for Knights and coaching staff
Please play a man in front of Fevola and give license to other players to move off their direct opponents and spoil Fevola. It becomes oh so predictable when it's getting kicked to him 20 times a game out of 50 forward entries. I'm tired of that turd kicking bags against us every time we play them.

Re: That's why we call them the 'Aints
Ross Lyon trying to blame his own coaching ineptitude on players. But that's what you get when you have Robert Walls on your coach selection committee. Looking like a great choice hey Wallsy. Oh but hang on a second, it's not the coaches fault, it's the lack of players at his disposal. BULLSHIT! How...

Re: Observations from ding-a-ling-gring
Well Gringo I don't agree with your comments about Lloyd - it is the best game he has had for a long time. It's amazing what you can accomplish when you actually keep your feet like he did last night. I thought he looks pretty unco-ordinated when he tries to kick the ball in general play. Don't know...

Re: Not all is doom and gloom...
I was happy with our intensity last night at the start - we were tackling and bumping players. Yes we only produced two good quarters of football but it's better than only the one that we have been producing for a few weeks. I would like our players to learn to throw the ball seeing that all other t...

Re: How's this for a theory
Essendon has to come bottom this year to maximize their draft selections. The side plays very well for a couple of quarters more than holding their own. Inexplicably our coach does not change tactics .Result we get f..d over again Although everybody thinks Kmights is a dickhead for not changing tac...

Re: Its Like A Disease...
I think we're all expecting too much of what is a very young team. I was impressed with our first half and it confirms that we're on the right track. We went in hard - blocked for other players; in summary, I believe we played some great footy. But the bigger and more mature bodies of Hawthorn fina...

Re: Matthew Lloyd
Just show him footage of when he was the same age as Franklin. Franklin is having consistently over 10 scoring shots a game - Lloyd never dominated games to this extent. Plus Franklin is on track for a 100 goals in the regular season - Lloyd never did this even in our heyday. In the age of flooding...

Re: Hawks Game Thread
Why in the name of God does Paddy Ryder insist on standing a step behind his opponent? The ball is being deivered to Buddy lace up and Ryder doesn't stand a chance when he's starting a metre behind. Well I don't think he has much choice, if he stands in front of him then they will just kick it over...

Flooding by opposition sides
We're one of the bottom sides, yet teams continue to flood against us. Franklin was the only one in their forward 50 so many times - I don't remember Lloyd having this luxury EVER in his career. I'm interested to hear from people here, how we can counter this. I don't want to hear about putting pres...

Re: Official 2008 (Non-Essendon) Scores and Updates Thread
The difference between Harvey and Knights is expectation Absolutely 100% agree when you have clowns like Walls predicting them to finish top 4. #-o But it's his first gig as a senior coach - don't know whether there are many first time coaches who would take their teams to finals in their first sea...

Re: Kepler, kepler man...
Nah... lead up forward. I didn't really know where he would have fit - just thought that he warranted more patience than some of the other blokes on the list. It was abundantly clear to me that his problem was confidence, not ability. Fair enough - who would you have taken off the list instead of B...

Re: Kepler, kepler man...
Well your piss ant stats show nothing. All you are doing is talking shit about how Kepler should have been kept and how Lloyd should have been traded. F****** hell! Well I'll tell you what BD, Lloyd is definitely starting to annoy me with his trademark fall to the ground just as Bradley did w...

Re: Kepler, kepler man...
I used to hope and hope that Kepler would become a player. He never displayed any competence other than the first 6 odd games in 2005. Played a relatively good game in 2006 v Brisbane, but the rest was forgettable. His kicking deficiencies were well documented and well presented. Good pair of hands...

Re: Official 2008 (Non-Essendon) Scores and Updates Thread
So are we taking bets on which point of the week Mark Harvey will be sacked after yet another Freo Fade Out? Haselby and Headland are fair outs. Haselby fair enough but he will be out for the whole season. I think they have found a more than capable replacement in Palmer. But Headland. Some...

Re: Kepler, kepler man...
Stats can be over-rated Andrewb - I thought whenever he got the ball he slowed down the play and allowed Port to get numbers back. Only watched the last half of the third quarter and last quarter. Mind you, I honestly admit I was never a big fan of Keplers. Seriously man... he's been in the best 2 ...
