Re: Did anyone see Knights on Footy Crapified ?
I saw it and the exchange about David Evans was certainly intriguing. After Knights said there were no KPIs in his contract, the panel didn't know what to say. There was deadly silence for a while and then Grant Thomas (who is always delightfully blunt) stated that he disagreed because ALL contract...

Re: No passengers = Good Football
But don't forget - We are apparently shit as was pointed out by many bandwagoners... No gameplan, shit coach, shit players bla bla bla... Just shows what persistence will do to a team like Essendon. Great Win today... =D> As I said in previous posts - couldn't fault the guts and determination since A...

Re: Laycock Injured?
Hille might be out... Laycock sounds VERY doubtful. Come on down Tommy Bellchambers. The next thought is...if Laycock goes LTI list, who gets elevated? Would love to see Marigliani get a chance. Looks ready and is a hard at it, big bodied kind of player... Hope the Cock's okay though... [-o<

Re: who should gringo see in Paris but...
If you're there just make it clear you are Aussie and not a Pom . They just hate each other passionately, but the Aussies get a good gig 'cos of the 50000 guys buried in North France from 1914-18. The Frogs just can't get why we came 26000k to get ourselves knocked for them. I got the impression it...

Re: Umpires and Bad Disposal
I thought he did quite well considering he had a pain killing injection at quarter time for rather severe corkie. Don't know how many of the knockers on here have actually had this done to them, needless to say it might help them appreciate Stants' efforts on the weekend a little more if they did......

Re: Hille must be dropped
Are you people F****** serious? Hille is only a handlful of games back from a knee reconstruction and he is doing F****** well considering that. Do you peanuts realise how difficult it is for big blokes to come back from knee recos? The majority don't even get back - see Biglands, Schwartz, Robbie ...

Re: Mental Strength and Season defining moments.
This is the happiest I have ever been losing by less than a goal. It was the oddest feeling after the game. After being on the edge of my seat, we didn't get over the line and after a second I relaxed and thought "Oh well they gave it a red hot go and that is all we can ask". I think that...

Re: Essendon v St Kilda Pre-Match Discussion Thread
Pace is definitely the key here. Apart from a few individuals, on the whole the Aint's aren't that quick. If Leroy can come in and turn it on like he did on the weekend it should help... But then so would kneecapping Dal Santo, Hayes and Goddard in the carpark before the game.

He's obviously loving being given a run in the middle. It's good to have another big body in there to help Jobe out from time to time. His second efforts at the ball this year have been what stands out the most. A major improvement on years gone by. Go Nat Rat!

Just finished watching the game... interesting one to watch. We werent overly convincing but did enough to shake off a pretty talented young GC side. 1- Neagle- really struggling this bloke, didint want to run at the footy and the only good thing he did was that last kick to Still right on the fina...

Yawn. Same bullshit different loss. To those of you who only follow Essendon because they've had so much success in the past... good luck with that. To those of us who love the red and black when they TRY... win lose or draw... join me ;) All I ask is that they try. We can't always have the cattle ...

Re: Bendigo vs Gold Coast
Marigliani kicked 3, and was clearly BOG. He's worth taking on IMO. While Jetta was quieter in the 2nd half, his first half was terrific. His ball handling was clean and crisp, and his pressure on opponents was fantastic - hard chasing, tackling and smothering etc. Very good game. Houli played well...

Re: Fletch the Great-Hille re-signs
Coach Matthew Knights praised Fletcher's performance on Hawthorn's Jarryd Roughead on Saturday night at the MCG, where he kept the Hawk goalless. "Dustin was magnificent," Knights said. I heart the hell out of Fletch but I could've kept Boofhead goalless on the weekend. He sucked. Just li...
