Re: Chook gone for year

I'd suggest deleting this post asap in the hope that no talent scouts (GC or GWS) read the less-than-flattering comments about the Cock. Listen up folks. From now on he's the brightest light on the Windy Hill horizon and all us moronic Bomber supporters will burn the place down if we were to trade h...

Re: Bendigo Bombers v Casey Scorpions

Like the look of Silverlock. Hopefully he and Rigga might get an opportunity later in the season.

Nice work Sal.

Re: Stanton

I don't think there is any way someone could pick a player to be best on ground last night .. No players stood out above the rest, there were a lot of good players, but none that really blitz it more than anyone else... Wouldn't rate Jetta as best on ground. A good dilemma to have me thinks... :-k

Re: Some random thoughts.

Sammy Lonergan doesn't seem fit to me. Don't know if he's carrying an injury or not but he was one of our shining lights last year. An in and under hard nut. This year he's struggling IMHO. Am I alone in thinking this? He could make way for Woosha although I'd prefer he come back via the magoos... :-k

Re: Maggoted again #10

Do we really have to have a weekly thread about these guys? Can we just set up a stickied thread title "Umpiring" and leave it there? I personally don't see the point on commenting on them every single week. They make mistakes just as our own players do. Live with it. Naturally, if there ...

Re: Attention Knighta baggers!!!

I am as rapt as anyone that Knights and the team have now got things right. Isn't it more of a case that the players are getting things right? That they are executing their disposal far better, and that they are tackling and supporting one another with intensity? That their whole attitude has chang...

Re: Stanton

Stanton: 32 possies, 16 contested at 69%. 10 marks and 2 contested, 4 clearances, 3 tackles. Leading poss, 5 ahead of Griffen and Winderlich. Was 2nd in contested poss, 2 behind Hudson and 3 ahead of the next best in Jobe. Equal high marks with Jetta, next best was several players on 7. A few fucku...

Re: Maggoted again #10

Didn't notice them apart from the dodgy one they gave us with Brian Lake's (?) shepherding a player running towards goal late in the game... Totally a rubbish decision. Cost them a near certain goal...

Re: Game Plan 2

In terms of Game Plans, we have to have a rethink on playing out the last 5 minutes of each quarter. When I see the arm go up with the clenched fist I immediately see the potential for at least 2 major turnovers resulting in goals. It is acknowledged that our greatest weapon and therefore advantage...

Re: Votes vs Doggies

I would not have picked that. Seemed like Stanton had far less effective than the rest. Maybe just because I noticed it early on and was watching for it? A trait of many Essendon supporters it seems... Myself included. There was the usual cock ups here and there but I thought his running and settin...

I'd be interested to see how many of Stantons possessions were effective. He might have had 30, but I reckon a lot of those were pants.
69% Kerry. Licha 63%. Leroy 68%. Jobe 52%.

Go figure...

Hocking's stoppage work on Gia whilst getting plenty of it himself was fantastic. We need another quality tagger and so far this season, when asked to do so, he's done the job... Bad for my Dreamteam but...
