I agree WC is too balanced side and wont win it. So it's between Goods and West IMO, they were clear standouts in thier team's and whilst I really want West to win, I'm pretty sure it's Brownlow no.2 for Goodies, as Johnson will steal 3-4 votes too many to get west over the line (again). I was pret...

Gringo, your problem is you actually think your allot smarter than you are. Not saying your completely wrong, I agree our dismal past seasons stem far broader than simply mark Bolton and Henneman and when thier gone next year a new wipping boy will be found, but I dont agree soley pointing out Watso...

No One does and no one will. Judd's skillset is unique as they come. Very few players with the run and carry ability he has are also champions at getting the hard ball. Most guys with that pace are purely outside players. You cant emulate their game plan unless you have the same skillsets at your di...

Wrapped he is going round again and also agree 15 games plus finals if we get there is well worth it. I thought as usual whne he played he was generally typically brillient he just missed alot of games which amplified the loss of Lloyd. It is no coincidence he played in all of our wins. 8/10 when he...

The rule is the rule and as it stands, games played prior to Adelaide's entry to the competition do not count. Whenever there is a top prospect available, the clubs (especially non Victorian clubs) bleat about how unfair the rules are. They do not bleat when the rules favour them. Brisbane are a cl...

Blues' priority chase

Article from the HUN today CARLTON is continuing its fight to reinstate its priority national draft selection as first pick overall. The club was told in June by the AFL it would not be eligible for the bonus, but has re-submitted a proposal seeking it be granted. ``We think the AFL should use its d...

Id be dead set surprised if that trade was legit. Geelong have an excellent midfield and two of the best small forwards going around. Surely their first and foremost priority would be to get another big man up forward. They simply cannot realistically expect tom hawkins to step up into the no 1 or 2...

What i do find somewhat amusing is Collingwood has abused the mental disabilities every member of the Cloke family is born with. Blind Freddy could see 4 years ago that they were only getting Jason and Cameron so they could get to Travis, who was the only decent one of the lot. Now that Collingwood...

Great season and huge improvement from last year. His disposal particularly by foot has let him down.

6/10 and rightly second best player for the season.

He will have to improve his disposal to move into the elite but he may be well on his way.

Gringo you are deluded mate! I agree our midfield is crap because we have too many in and under slow players but I think having a couple of good ones to get the ball out to your flashy running midfielders is essential. For mine, Jobe is no.1 clearance man and allong with JJ who hopefully is back to ...

Not to hang crap on Courtney Johns but he isn't exactly a superstar forward yet. Now if Johns can kick 3 goals on Jason Cloke up to half time with the horrible disposal into our forward line why the hell would we want Cloke at CHB. Not to mention the fact all the Clokes are inbreds, I'd prefer play...

I think playing most of the game on the bench in the seniors is doing Ryder more damage than good. Ryder should work to dominate and own the ruck position in the two's first. Give him a couple of years, which is precisely how much time Everitt has left.

Thats my logic anyway.

1. Judd - Has it all and Does it all, wins contested ball in an era of uncontested football, kicks goals, runs and lays off with precise delivery. Super Fast, skillfull, tough and creative, he is the best midfielder I have ever seen bar none and third best footballer I have seen behind Hird and Care...

I agree, he's a great player but tagging him one of the finest ever is a bit much. I'd have to say Kerr is easily my favorite player for that side followed closely by Judd and then Embly but only Judd I would rate as a great of the game and even then only loosely until he follows it up with another ...

I think he will be a good winger or HFF but to date he has shown only flashes of creative play, dash and precision disposal but little ability to find the ball. I think he has been very overated by many in BT and for mine he got all the game time he deserved in 06 and failed to take his chances and ...

Let's not forget Everitt, who is so good a ruckman he made the Hawks midfield look good at times. Id be happy to take Everitt in the PSD if he is available. Gives Ryder 2 more years of development without having to get thrown to the wolves in the case of yet another injury to Laycock or suspension t...

IMO your score should also reflect the teams performance, ie. mid ladder team averages 5, last team averages maybe 2 at best. We came last on the ladder, so the only 2 guys I would give greater than 5/10 would be Lucus and Watson. MJ was very disappointing and along with JJ, Sol and McPhee were larg...
