He wasnt popular because he wanted to go to Sydney for his last two seasons. If he did come to us im sure he would be very happy and would get along with most of the boys at the dons.

I certainly wouldnt trade for him as I think we have other priorities ATM but If he is the best available at pick 2 in the PSD then I'd say take him. Chook is injury prone, Ryder isnt ready and Cartlage may not be up to it. Like White from Melbourne this year, Hill would be a better player if he had...

Considering where the Doggies came on the ladder compared to us, I'd say player wise they have far more to offer.

You pricks astound me. Earlier on in the season, you were saying how useless he was. f****** hypocrites! He is f****** useless. 1 descent game a year does not consist of a descent contribution in any standards. In fact Bolton has been twice as good this season with his two good games. Ted is an und...

Im one of those who would name Lloyd at CHF with Lucas at CHB. IMO Rd 1 this year showed what Lloyds capabilities are at the position if he plays there after a full preseason. I think previous attemtps to play Lloyd at CHF have been midseason when he has spent the early season parked at FF and no lo...

I agree WC is too balanced side and wont win it. So it's between Goods and West IMO, they were clear standouts in thier team's and whilst I really want West to win, I'm pretty sure it's Brownlow no.2 for Goodies, as Johnson will steal 3-4 votes too many to get west over the line (again).

Agree that Goods isn't the best in the comp but has been far and away the best player for sydney again. he has just been awesome. His goal running allong the boundary line showed why he polls votes. How does a 100kg + 6ft+ guy move like midfielder? I agree he is unaccountable and fickle but he beats...

Go for Hansen! Gibbs is a "dead end"! He and his whole family are adamant that he will only play for Adelaide! We will be left sitting with Adelaide and negotiating a trade for 2 Adelaide (Melbourne-based) players! That's rubbish. He has said he would prefer to stay in SA. He has never sa...

We came 4th in inside 50's this year. Lucas has kicked 60 before in the same season Lloyd kicked 100 so what makes anyone think Lloyd wouldnt have made that 24 point per game difference. I just hope he plays next year and proves those who think he wouldnt make THAT MUCH difference wrong. Im sure he...

Why are the Bulldogs looking towards next year already? Musn't be too confident. Coach has been saying they are stuffed since about rd 5, so they havn't been confident all year, but they keep on winning. He'd be a great pick up but surely they need to be looking at getting some talls, not more midf...

One of the better seasons of his career, sure. But what are we comparing it to? If this season was the absolute best he could give, after 9 seasons and 117 games, then is his place in the side necessary? There's no potential there anymore. He's as good as he's going to get. Sure, we'd all probably ...

Season 2007

My predictions of our preparation next season are that Rioli, Henneman, Heffernan and Bolton will be delisted. Rama will be either delisted or temporarily delisted under an agreement we applied for with the afl. We will seek a trade of Welsh with pick 38 to Brisbane for Acker. I think Welsh suits Ma...

Im certain they will go for Pavlich at CHF due to the worlds new found love affair with the Dockers. Honestly, the only way you could split Lucus, Hall and Pavlich would be a hint of favouriteismn to one of them as they have all had excellent and more importantly consistant seasons. Also note that w...

I think Soloman and a pick 36 for acker will be our shot at him. But dont discount another club offering a better deal to the Brisbane Lions and him getting traded to just about anywhere. The bottom line is that Acker is a contracted player and as such the ball is in the Lions court as Acker does no...

Actually I'll go one step further and say it would be UNFORGIVABLE AND IRRESPONSIBLE to WIN tonight. As stupid as that sounds, under the current system we have apsalutely nothing to gain and everything to lose. My guess is pick 18 or 20 has ackers name on it as long as we get the concession pick. If...

You bloody Dyson lovers!! Tell me what has the kid done or shown to suggest he will be any good? IMO he has shown the Cory McGragh ability to dominate VFL but do stuff at at AFL level. The other guys have all proven at AFL level than they can cut it, even if only for a game or two like Winderlich an...

Whilst I know your blokes are just taking out your frustration of years of underachievement gone unacknowledged due to the stupid rules at BT, I have to say he is no where near our worst player this season. Of course we should. He is a class act, and dont underestimate the power of self beliefe that this man radiates.
