Sorry mate, you can do it if you want but as I said in the Bradley Thread, stats tell only half the story. If you want to tell the full story you go posession by posession and describe, is it contested, not contested, did he hesitate, stop and prop, evade a tackle, get tackled or deliver quickly, Di...

A whole lot of ridiculous number crunching that amounts to not much. Comparing Fletcher a full back to Bradley is just not sensible. Of course your stats are better if you play up the ground. If only it was as simple as pulling the stats out. Scotty West would have 23 Brownlows by now! Right, Right...

I don't mind Kepps, i reckon he's ok. He does try very hard. I hope he comes good and proves all you buggers wrong So do I mate!! But like my feelings on Lucus years ago, im not wanting him cut or traded. Only played in the 2's until he deserves a senior match. Sure Lucus came good (better than goo...

I agree on most points andrew and would just like t point out that i dont blame the kids especially Dyson and Dempsey. Im simply pointing out that other than Hird, they are the only two with the specific skill base to add the precision dellivery we need for our top heavey forward line to function. A...

Oh FFS. How many threads do we need from you one eyed, whinging sad cases? He played, he wasn't the only one to f*** up out there on the night, get over it. If you have issues go have it out with the panel who pick the players. Or at very least go join in on one of the other threads full of whingin...

I think that our midfield woes may be exaggerated. We looked a bit shabby against Carlton but we were missing JJ, MJ and Campo. There's a lot of experience in that group. Don't underestimate the impact of Monfries, either - if he can play 40 minutes a game in the middle this year it will go a long ...

Oh Bradley!!!!

Bradley is lost!!! How about the time he was 1 on 1 with Eddie Betts with the perfect overhead pass to his advantage and he coughed it up under pressure from a bloke 1 foot shorter than him. Just typified his uselessness. DISCRACE!!!! I don’t think there was any danger of Bradley doing anything righ...

My take after just 1 game

Our forward structure appears confused with all the options we have down there, but I’m sure they will get it together at some stage. If they do, the new hands rule should suit us, it clearly brings the big forwards back into the game and we have 3 of them and a ruckman who can play forward as well....

Yes he is easily in our 22 if he is in the form he was in for the last 8 rounds of last season. His pace is decieving too, he isnt slow by any means. A food FULL season from JJ and Pev allong with the continued form (or better still continued development) of Stanton and Watto will go a log way towar...

I'd have to agree its Daniher. Rioli was great and probably would have been even better than Daniher if he wasnt so injury prone. But if that was the case he probably would have played in a premiership too.

Anyone think his punishment (banished from the club until May) is extremely excessive? Very harsh, but you can't say he wouldn't have seen it coming. It seems he didn't learn from previous encounters. One wonders if he'll learn from this. When I initially heard on radio that he was "suspended&...

Exactly, not sure the issue with drunken footballers unless they get into fights or do something wrong whilst they are drunk. In fact just the other week I went out for an all night bender, got on the train home at about 10:30am, then fell asleep and woke up back at flinders at about 12:00pm and had...

and if its your own missus doing the dirty, its time for a trade in anyways! Exactly my sentiments. Yet, this logic isn't common amongst the majority of us men. I'll just come out and say it. Many of the lesser educated (like some footballers) have failed to evolve from the monkeys, and to this day...

Hmmm, this is interesting. I think I opened a discussion about the game of today as compared to 30 years ago re: skills. There were many good debates suggesting the modern game is better and vice versa. What it left us with was questions such as.......if the game is so much quicker today, why aren'...

Pretty simple really. Whilst the game is much quicker and the guys playing are now genuin athletes, scores have not increased because the athletic ability of players now allows more men playing behind the ball hence all the flooding. IMO just about any recent champions would make past days champions...

Dont get the decision to take Davey. He trained with Melbourne last year and couldnt get a gig on thier rookie list, now we take him at #36 in one of the best drafts for years. :? Surely we could have rookied him. Pretty happy with the rest of our picks, think it panned out quite well if we also con...

Mal generally full back as he his very much a defensive and negating player, he isnt very creative and doesnt have the depth of kick that fletcher provides. Fletcher will Play generally CHB where he can be a target for kick in's thanks to his strong overhead marking and ultimately his mobility, crea...

Can I add, Bowers is a f****** winging ass hole. Face it! They f***** up by not having a clause that prevents him playing AFL at another club in 2007. Of course Michaels would not allow such a clause if he was not going to be financially compensated so Brisbanes greedy and nieve admin made a huge ga...

He WILL not get past the hawks at pick 6 if he gets to them at all. Actually I'd be surprised if the roos let him through at pick 3. Is Nathan Brown a very good prospect for full back? If so that would be a good get at 20. Full backs rarely come through the system in full back, they are usually deve...
