Closest I might get Tony,is watching Training in the Street behind the Northern End Nets, opposite Gloucester Park. Entry to inside the ground is not possible,I was told.Lucky the Jiffy Van doesn't come to the WACA anymore.Sorry Pal!No Entry today! I still remember Steve Waygh giving me a "Do ...

Re: Ashes Cricket 2017/18

Reckon I would have enforced the follow on myself. What stopped Smith from doing so? Management of our Fast Bowlers? Cricket Australia begging(or dictating)to Lehman and Smith to extend the Test to 5 Days? The Ghost of Headingly stil gnawing away at the back of our psyche? We Won in the end,but I re...

Re: How the NFL Fleeces Taxpayers

Been doing quite a bit of reading from 1 Peter Fitzsimons,in light of this issue being drawn to my attention on Offsiders today. Short of barely hearing a word about what the NSW Government's intentions were with Stadiums,I got my teeth into Fitz's opinion pieces on 3 Stadiums being bowled over and ...

Still a lot of votes to be counted, but I don't see any Seats being won by you and your mob. This is Queensland, your Home State. What happened? You may think you won a lot of votes, but Winning Seats is what it's all about in Elections. You don't think having James Ashby in your Ranks is holding you bac...

I'd be quite happy if he did go to Ferrari,Crazyman.

Don't know how he'd be received by the Fanatics at Monza, but hoping a Duncraig lad from Perth will be received well.

Unfortunately, the old Simmer Holiday doesn't have Sheffield Shield Games anymore. It's been taken over by Mickey Mouse Cricket.

Will see if there's a possibility early next season, that coincides with the Spring Carnival.

Nothing I backed,I can tell you Rock. Once Joao fell off his ride in the 4th,I had this impending sense of Doom, even if Ben Allen is a good young jockey. Checked me Mysteries and flexis, nup. Gotta check out an article about the Family Horse Shadow King,on Racing.com By Matt Stewart.Dear old Mum drew...

Re: Sheffield Shield, ODD's + Big Bash 2017/18

Khawaja is a Flat Track Bully according to my old Ozfooty sparring Buddy and Bomber Hater,Peter North. Anyone ever get to The G for the Sheffield Shield Matches? Love to see a photo of the thickest part of a 500 crowd(?). Gee,if I lived in Melbourne,I'd be there in a Flash. I suppose he’s a Shaun M...

Re: How the NFL Fleeces Taxpayers

Deal reached at the New Stadium. A lot of Backslapping going on between the WA Government, the WA Football Commission,West Coast,Fremantle and AFL Chairman,Richard Goyder. Seems pretty Smug if you ask me.I don't mind footy getting it's Fair Share. But what's the Catch I wonder(to Taxpayers),given the ...

I wonder where Sheffield Shield matches fit in then? That'd interfere with the WACA Test preparations, surely? I did hear Cricket Australia put very little money towards this competition, but if time difference was a problem, you may as well have played the game in Adelaide. #-o Why would Taswegians gi...

How the NFL Fleeces Taxpayers

On the Back of the AFL Commission threatening to delay AFL action at the new Perth Stadium for a year or worse,if the State Government didn't give this greedy Mib a share of other sports' stadium profits and not putting a cent towards it's construction,I quite literally stumbled into an article I ha...
