Re: f*** off..
Only 3 weeks ago she called for Hird's head because he was taking a banned substance, tonight at least she acknowledges we never even received it. Getting thinner by the day you f****** mole. "This despite revelations of a complete breakdown in the club's chain of command, including the most r...

Re: f*** off..
In 2012, Mr Dank and Essendon fitness coach Dean Robinson also produced forms for the players to sign that stated that AOD9604 was WADA-compliant. Last month, WADA specifically banned AOD9604 under rule S0. Its too funny isn't it. They "specifically" banned a substance under the most non-...

Re: Knights 1, Essendon 0
Well, I saw him play about a dozen games in the VFL and he barely touched the ball in any of them. I don't remember him being listed among the best players in the newspapers often, if ever, either.Megan wrote:I thought D Mac was rated in the VFL? Re: Alex Browne and Courtney Dempsey
Bruce Brown was a wingman/forward flanker type who came to us from Melbourne where he managed a few games. His father was Alf Brown, the doyen of football journalists at the time.

Re: Robbo's thoughts on who might go at years end
You'd cut Ross!? Really? Wow. FWIW, I think he is safe as houses and most likely in the group of signings from a month ago. I didn't realise he re-signed recently, but he's played one game in almost two years, others have looked better at VFL level and I'm probably influenced by Gossy. If it were a...

Re: "I was bombers scapegoat"
I'm afraid Bachar is a little delusional. I saw a few Bendigo games that year and he certainly didn't do "everything right in the VFL". As always with him during his time with us, he got plenty of it but wasted a lot of his possessions through bad decision making and rarely did the hard de...

Our 70's twos coach, Bob Syme, was Swampy but I guess he isn't who you have in mind.

Re: Reveal The Player (Nicknames)
Obscure early 70's wingman, John May, might be the other Wally. I vaguely recall him being nicknamed after late 40's/early 50's star Wally May but it might also have been the latter's nickname, Chooka.

Re: Carlile and Pears
Carlisle is predominantly a CHF who can play back too, if necessary. He has played all of 13 games, mostly at CHF (about the most difficult position of all). Let's wait until he has bulked up a bit more and played 50 or so games before judging him. He definitely isn't better than Hooker at CHB at th...
