Re: The Team

Hille when fit must be brought straight back in too.

Paddy MUST fire up.

NO lacklustre performances from ANYONE (players or coaches).

We've got those 28pts to go after don't forget.

Re: did you let go last weekend too?

am always interested but tomorrows game is one of those " damned if you win, damned if you dont win" type of games. Sadly, and in an almost masochistic way, I am almost hoping we lose in order to bring this whole mess that is our Footy club at the moment, to a head THIS! Thing is even IF ...

Re: Choco Williams GAWNE

Our club at the moment is appearing very bland and coming across as a "joke" to the rest of the competition (and to some supporters). We need a coach who has a decent profile and has the credentials (experience and success as a coach) to be given the gig. Not someone who sells themself wel...

Re: Signs that we're in trouble:

Carlton were SUPPOSE to have a tougher fixture than us and predicted by some to be 1-9 or so come Round 10ish. In actual fact going by the ladder as it is now the played 7 matches in the first 11 against BOTTOM 8 teams and only 4 against CURRENT TOP 8 teams. We have to hope Richmond take it up to th...

Season 2010

The way the ladder has it now we've played 13 rounds with 10 of these being against teams in the top 8 and 3 YES that's it 3 against sides in the bottom 8. For the remainder of the season we've got a split of 4 games against sides outside the 8 and another 5 against sides inside the 8. So we'll have...

Essendon V Geelong next week

If you haven't bought tickets and need to I'd be getting in VERY QUICK. Just been on the phone to ticketmaster and bought 2 for my parents who are Country Members. All of Level 1 and 2 has been sold and there are only a few aisles left on level 3 that have seating left and all of these are behind th...

Who would you want as coach?

If the losses continue to mount AND the EFC decide to pay out Matthew Knights (not sure they would) who would you want as a replacement coach? Only one I could imagine coming to club would be Mark Williams from Port. He's an experienced coach (Premiership coach at that), familiar with our club havin...

Re: Bendigo vs Port Melb

Neagle did kick a couple from what I hear but it was Still who did well forward. Bellchambers didn't play and McVeigh was better in the second half. Laycock alright, Davey okay but not much said of Prismal. oh yeah Silverlock was another mentioned who was said to have played well. Saw him at Visy Pa...

It's one of the funniest things I have ever read.

It would be absolutely priceless to beat them again this year.

1pt would do it.

The mouthing off this time would be unbelievable.

Re: Crowd noise?

Why would you get a membership and not turn up for away games, especially at the G vs Carlton?? Its like you are half a supporter blows my mind aswell Who knows why people do it but that's the case. I've got a lot of friends who choose to only buy the 11 home game memberships and go to the HOME gam...

Re: Crowd noise?

A lot of our supporters also only take out 11 home game memberships and won't attend the "away" games.

ANZAC Day will be an exception because of the occasion.

Last night was 70% Blues.

Had our "home game only" members turned up the crowd would have been 85K rathern than the 71K.

Re: Crowd noise?

hope Anzac day is much better... speaking of us being "away" last night we have 3 "away" games in a row, seems weird to me Last night originally when the fixture came out was to be our home game. Carlton V Richmond Round 1 was to be Carlton's home game but Richmond complained (k...
