Re: Has Herrieter Lumumba got a Genuine Gripe?
I haven't read that he wanted people sacked. http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/no-slur-link-to-heritier-lumumbas-move-20140909-10eodl.html By the looks of this, there is more media in this than story. Player manager trying to spin it a different way in hope some other club will take a chance.. ...

Re: Congratulations Stanton
Definitely lost my vote after the last few weeks. If he wasn't injured last night then he has to be told by someone at the club that as a senior player, it just wasn't good enough. Not sure who would take him... If he needs someone to tell him this then he shouldn't be on an AFL list full stop! And...

Re: Feeling the Pain? Not Really
Gutted, Shattered & in need for a new screen on the front door. Ben summed it up perfectly in his post. This isn't a side I expected to hold a cup in September, but I did expect a 4 Qtr performance making a statement to the football world, especially on the back of being kicked out of last years...

Don a red & blue jumper for Sunday mate, will need all the luck we can to get over the West Coast Royals![Wink ;)](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)

Re: Thank f*** that's over
It's over? There's a little matter of 13 players facing bans. They are not in the clear. There is some shit happening in the background which disturbs me. No declaration that AOD-9604 was ok to use at the time, only clear statements from both ASADA and AFL that it IS a banned substance. Agree with ...

Re: Stanton
Stanton definitely not alone yesterday.
To me it looked like 22 players who had just found out that they would be stripped of premiership points by the end of August.

Billyduckworth. If some peanut throws mud, you have to take the iniative to clean it off. The bombers did what was right. If they did not come forward with a presser asking for WADA/ASADA to investigate then it would have been Reimers word vs the Clubs. "interpretting "on the edge" f...

Re: Illicit drugs suspensions
Do they think these things through? Now any player listed with General Soreness (or misses a week or two for other reasons) automatically comes under suspicion for being a drug user or suffering depression. Why they insist on playing bulls**t games with this isuue is beyond me. Either publicly list ...

Re: 7 WAFL Clubs SeriouslyConsider Boycotting AFL Host Clubs
Was always about the money Grassy ... The WAFL's self-titled G7 clubs will get access to an extra $120,000 a year as part of a fresh financial package related to the East Perth and Peel alignments with West Coast and Fremantle respectively from 2014. And there will be a long-term push to "natur...

Re: How Jobe Became The Best Footballer at the Club
Its like school. The kids that succeed often get individual coaching in their spare time . Exactly. You can send your child to the best schools in the world, doesn't guarantee they walk out the other side a Doctor or Lawyer. Those that go the extra yard with study, tutors, being a chapter ahead in ...

Re: Dear Patrick Smith
Jobe wouldn't be the player his is without Sheeds. So I thank Sheeds. Listening to his acceptance speech, I would suggest that he wouldn't be the player he is without the influence of his father. I wouldn't give Sheeds much credit at all. There's no way he would've had as much motivation without Sh...

Not sure what all the fuss is about with Glassy being awarded the AA Captaincy. Has been a fantastic leader for the club since taking it on. Jobe received his own recognition for a stellar year with both AA Selection & his peers voting him AFLPA Best Captain (don’t think he would be too disappoi...

Re: M.R.P.
Charges being dropped was the correct decission in the end IMO. Lynch met McMahon at the same time he marked the ball, he wasnt late to the contest, and he was entitiled to compete. Courageous effort by McMahon no doubt, but a bloke shouldn't get weeks for competing in a contest he was entitled to b...

5 Years for 22 Games. Surely he cant be surprised its only 1 Year on the table.
This would (should) be a year to repay the club for the faith it has shown him during his injury plagued 5 years.

If a player receives a second strike then they receive a 6 week suspended sentence. If they receive a third strike the 6 weeks is added to any other penalty handed down by the league.
