I thought the grass at Tulla was supposed to be 250% softer than Windy Hill.

Re: f*** off..c***

I hope that we win a final and make the GF soon so we can put this all behind us.

Although I thought we had, I think that success will be the only thing that salves the still gaping wounds.

Re: Australia v India Test Series 2018/19

Anyway - with 33 wickets gone (it would have been 38 but Kohli protected his tail end who can't bat)... We are not talking about the wicket no more.

Re: Australia v India Test Series 2018/19

Handscomb Must work on his technique 1st. Fahwed Ahmed. Handscomb allegedly has been working with Hick every day since the Perth test and the word is that the coaching staff is confident that he has adequately addressed his issues (mind like the technique of all the others is sooo good as well /s) ...

Re: Australia v India Test Series 2018/19

4th Test Outs - A.Finch,M.Starc Ins - G.Maxwell,J.Holland Or F.Ahmed. Ussie moves up the order to open the batting. On Notice pending today’s efforts - S.Marsh,M.Marsh. Tough on Finch... he isn't playing in his normal position in the red ball game. He is more of a 2nd drop... which isn't working any...

Re: Australia v India Test Series 2018/19

Wicket is crap? Maybe... But then again a number of chances were missed by bad field placement (no 2nd slip FFS) or sloppy fielding. Also I wonder about the selection - you have 3 arguably 4 of a same style of fast bowling and a finger spinner who will come into the game later. You don't have a real...

Re: Australia v India Test Series 2018/19

Handscomb dropped for an all rounder ... who averages nearly double with the ball (35 wickets from 30 tests at 42.45) than with the bat (26.02 from 51 innings)... But then again... his form must have made a compelling case... didn't it? Or was it the fact that somebody made him VC... If you are goin...

Re: Majak Daw badly hurt

Tone and content of recent reporting indicates Majak has been struggling with issues. Lots of quotes from mental health advocates including Wayne Schwass who stated that he has been "worried about an AFL Player taking his own life for over a decade". I think we can leave it there. Guy has a long roa...

Re: Australia v India Test Series 2018/19

Ireland are only very new at Test Cricket, but I’d be curious to know,if their populace here would turn up in great numbers,if given the opportunity to play a Test at the MCG? Can't even get them to turn up to AFL internationals which are quasi Hurling. It would only work with a happy hour every ses...

At Perth Stadium now, with the Swami Army in front of me. Creates a better atmosphere than most Tests. That is more spectator related than venue. Reckon the Big Tests will be at Perth Stadium(India,England,South Africa),the rest at the WACA(Bangladesh,Pakistan,West Indies,Sri Lanka,Bangladesh and Ire...

Apparently the Australian bowlers are complaining about "soft balls" affecting their performance.

Re: Australia v India Test Series 2018/19

Media is pushing for Handscomb to be dumped for the other Marsh. Their biggest argument is that its Marsh's home pitch and Handscomb's technique looks bad. Me, I though that Finch might be a bit more worried. Handscomb has been touted as a replacement keeper and even captain depending on the extent ...

Unfortunately, none of my kids are interested in a threaded forum like this ... possibly because they can't see nudie pictures or get game cheats from here... sad.

Re: Late Round Draft Success Stories

To clarify my previous post - I guess James had a scholarship to the AIS in his senior school years and did the academic bit at Hawker College. Was in my son's class. So I have heard this story too and so it’s great to have it verified by someone who had a direct link to Hirdy at the time. Somethin...

Re: Late Round Draft Success Stories

Wasn’t Hird pick 79? And Hardwick pick 87? Two rippers there. Yes, but they predate this sample. Not to mention that Hird under today's drafting rules and advances would have been a top 10 pick. Essendon effectively hid him away in Canberra at a time when the current Under 18 competition was not in...
