Dea cut from list.
Disappointed with that. Despite some in here thinking that he was a depth player at best, he played 12 games this year (total of 39 games over 3 seasons) with us.

I suppose that means we will be recruiting at least one more half-back flanker then...

Re: Who do we want?

McNiece offered another yr as Cat B Rookie. How does Ben McNiece fit into this category? In addition to these six rookie-listed players, each club can include up to three additional players (now referred to as Category B rookies) on its Rookie List provided the player either: • has not registered i...

Re: Who do we want?

Mynott rookie listed for another season. 33 Primary list players signed on for 2019. 2 Primary list players yet to sign: Bags, Dea. 3 Rookies signed on for 2019. 3 Rookies yet to sign: Lavender, McNiece, Long. I still don't get why the club is dragging the chain on Bags. He wouldn't be on much coin...

Re: Who do we want?

Ok, I know we just got rid of Green, but would Menzel be worth a look? Averaging 2 goals a game as a small forward. Would mainly consider him as backup for Raz. Could be. But I reckon he’d be a frustrating player. Only runs one way. If we’re happy to have an unaccountable forward, then go for it. B...

Bonus: Essendon trade Travis Colyer to Fremantle for its Future Rd 4 Selection. Geez ... rumor was that Dorido was seeking a first round pick (as if) ... Trying not to giggle at Freo supporters on twitter who think this is a steal. No offence to Travis. So just because the Dorkers are Fremantle and...

Ummm we have picks 34, 66 and 84 only. Our 2nd and 3rd round picks were traded last year and we got pick 34 from GWS last year.

Re: Who do we want?

We aren't forced to cull anyone as Primary list size required is 38-40 (38 with up to 9 rookies, 40 for 7). Green, Goddard, Colyer, JMerrett gone with Shiel coming in. Primary list size currently is 36. 6 rookies are currently in the squad. 3 can be retained (for a 2nd or 3rd season) with the rest ...

Re: Who do we want?

So we have 3 picks in the draft? If so, do we still have to cull someone off the list?? Still lots of opportunity to bump off the list... Dea, Long, Bags, McNiece (R) and Mynott (R) shouldn't rest easy yet (though McNiece will possibly survive being a Category B rookie) One of the senior spots will...

Re: Who do we want?

Kinda my point. Setterfield is unproven, not in their best 22 and has injuries instead of being home sick. Not to mention Francis's fitness was a big concern. Yet nobody here would've been happy to accept a 3rd round pick for him last year because of the massive potential but coz its a potentially ...

Re: Who do we want?

Talk that GWS have cracked the shits for "having" accept unders for Setterfield and Scully and thus are playing hard ball with Shiel and Lobb. Well dickheads that isn't how trading works, also you essentially told Shiel and Lobb to f*** off. Also how much does the Hawks trading for Scrimshaw and Sc...

Re: DYLAN SHIEL

I thought we had obtained his services. My apologies if that is not is not so. I have by anything yet. I think the club is exploring other trade/s which may affect our offer to GWS. Could be a situation where Dodoro needs to explore, consult, negotiate, speculate, then execute. Yes maybe, but if so...

Re: Fletch jnr

Well seeing he missed pretty much his entire U18 year with injury, hard to see him being anymore than a late round/rookie draft pick....no idea where this talk of him being a potential 1st round pick is coming from. Fletch himself maybe? (proud dad and all) ... no one else. Even when playing, he is...

Re: Who do we want?

Last year No. was worth at least a late first round or second round puck...he was unproven, homesick, and not in our best 22. A year and patience/persistence later and a very different story....nothing less than a first round pick... Kinda my point. Setterfield is unproven, not in their best 22 and...

Great to see that the Marsh Brothers have reverted to form. [/sarc]

Is there a word for a pair of brothers that each go for a duck in an innings?
