Re: R15 Essendon v GWS

Did anyone notice that the Eagles made 6 changes after their humiliation against Sydney before playing us? If you don’t send a message to the team after games like that and the one we put in against West Coast then when do you send it? Given the short break for the VFL team, why didn’t they rest mor...

Re: Bomber Thompson

I think it’s a little too easy to gloss over the damage done to Hird and Thompson as a result of their respective media lead character assassinations. They were cast as evil pariahs by the media which simply played into the hands of the great unwashed. Hird became dangerously depressed attempting a ...

OUT: Guelfi IN: Gleeson Junkyard Johnny can be brutal when he wields the axe! What a knob. Bless him and his Cuddle Brand of Footy After that performance against West Coast he has simply replaced an injured player. Not a single omission for that spineless effort. The man is utterly delusional

Re: Open Letter to John Worsfold

Windy Hille...in court trials, there is a long held rule for prosecuting lawyers....never ask a question that you don’t already know the answer. It can only backfire Pointing to Sean McKernan as a prime example of player development under Worsfold is not a good play. Another popular courtroom phrase...

Re: Open Letter to John Worsfold

I feel sorry for Worsfold. This team truly has a split personality. I think you have to grant him leave for the first 2 years. Who was to know that WADA would overrule ASADA and ban the players. That was year 1- cobbling together the rag tag army. I actually enjoyed that year very much. Then came ‘...

You’re not a Falt Earther by any chance Windy Hille?
Not at all. I’ve in fact presented evidence that the earth is round.

Are you a climate change denier?

Nope, I for one fully support change. The sooner the better!

Re: Our ruck crisis...

Given St Kilda’s history of screwing up trades with Essendon ,I seriously doubt they would roll the dice again. How could a club in its position even contemplate risking that sort of coin on a completely untried prospect coming off a knee reconstruction. Sounds like fake news to me.

Re: Open Letter to John Worsfold

All I can say about these arguments is...THE ROAR!!!! Everyone bagged that article. I endorsed it. Bonce denounced it. And THE ROAR was f****** spot on. Perhaps everyone simply overrated our list and had unrealistic expectations. Every year, every club improves their list. Just because we gained a ...

Re: Open Letter to John Worsfold

And one more response to the matter of injured players. Of course losing players of the calibre of Smith and Daniher will affect team performance. But even when they have all been together it has hardly inspired confidence. Not to mention that if you are to be a successful team you need squad depth ...

Re: VFL Essendon 2019

Great to see Franga getting among the goals. Even better to see the ball busting Will Snelling dominating 8) He's an absolute ripper. Won't be long before he gets a crack at senior level. Agree on both counts. Francis May well have to become a forward given the solid work of the back 6. As for Snel...

Windy H....I admire your optimism. But come on, the whole industry is questioning Worsfold Are they? I hear some discussion, but most of them are saying he is a special case because, technically, this is his 2nd year without the saga and aftermath (dealing with suspensions and re-integration). Re: Clanger Hangar 2019

Yep, clangers and turnovers are our achilles heal #-o Yep, that and the coaching... The two are not mutually exclusive. The game plan is dependent on elite disposal skills. ie. Pinpoint passes into the corridor to a loose man. Problem is that two things eventuate, it pays off maybe 5 times out of 1...

I know a lot of you don’t like the fact that I have Woosha in my sights. But in all honesty, there are probably bigger fish to fry. Namely the higher echelon management and administration. The membership management, staffing decisions, commercial deals that fly in the face of public opinion, corny e...

Re: Snelling.

He should come in to the team. His initial performances in the VFL suggest he could have some impact. But then hard decisions will need to be made in regards to who gets dropped. In my opinion is Fantasia if not right then he needs to go. Was just bog average against WCE. If not Fantasia then McDona...

Walla is like a game of Roulette

You get lucky in the first few spins of the wheel. But then your luck turns but you cant walk away from the table. You keep thinking your luck is going to turn and before you know it you're down to your last few dollars.

Time to drop Walla for a couple of weeks
