Re: Dodoro

It is another area the club has lagged behind in. We used to be the innovators in the League now we are the distance followers. We have finally gone out and splashed the cash to get supposedly the best coaching panel available, we splashed the cash and got one of the best (at least at time he was c...

Re: What is Hird's 2013 pass mark?

Pretty simple trade hooker/pears, reimers jetta. Delist Lovett-spastic, Dyson and slattery. Another quality post...so if Hird follows your plan, according to you he would pass 2013  What if we subsequently lost every game? Do you ever actually put any thought into your answers or is that beyo...

Re: Nobby Clarke

As others have altready said, a dead set gentleman. I met him a couple of times in the rooms after games or after training (in the days when you could still do that!). Quietly spoken but very friendly. And on the field he was a great competitor, one of the unsung heroes of those magnificant 80s tea...

Re: 1984

Even though we lost that 2nd semi, I still remember it as the greatest game of football I have ever seen....not the best result, but it was a f****** awesome game of football.

(although the following week's game against the pies was pretty damn good too vingertje )

Yay...the west coast wankers have lost and so things will be pretty quiet here in Perth this week

Except for the shit stirring I will be doing with any wanker supporter I happen to run into

Re: Adelaide v Fremantle Semi Final

And once more, Matthew Pavlich shows why he has never deserved the plaudits he gets.

In a huge game for the club, he was a f****** non-entity almost the entire match.

That sort of performance is why I've never rated him BD.

I wonder if the wankers will show it in Perth :?

And I'm with you on this one BD...it was THE best feeling I've ever experienced in all my time following th Bombers.

Re: Saints to play in NZ

Sorry but I can see no real benefit here. Surely the game would be a St Kilda home game and so that is one less opportunity for their members to see their team play (unless they want to shell out for airfares and accommodation). The AFL would be better off ensuring the game is strong at the grass ro...

Re: Gumbleton Ponders Future

Nothing story...we have offered a deal, he hasn't accpeted yet, because he is overseas (happens with players at every club, every year) Pretty sure I saw a story in recent weeks where he made comments about wanting to repay the club and Hird for the faith they have shown in him. However, if another...

Re: Elimination Final Geelong v Fremantle

Pavlich has been overrated in my opinion for the results he has delivered over a long period. There are numerous examples of him having shots for goal late in games which were the difference between Fremantle winning or losing. In the majority of case he failed to kick the goal. He has never really ...

He is still prone to the same brain snaps he had when he played at Essendon and so I seriously doubt our situation would have been any different.

Pretty warm here in Perth today with an expected top of 29 degrees. The local sooks are whingeing because they couldn't train at Subiaco over the last few days due to the Australia V South Africa test last night...f****** whingers...the wankers train and play there all the damn time...what would the...

Re: Elimination Final Geelong v Fremantle

Picked it. Not sure why its such a big shock 6th v 7th and Freo have been in ripper form. Ross Lyon is some sort of coach. Managed to get a free lunch and a few beers out of people as a result of winning bets. Just on that a Geelong mate I've known for 3 years has been on the point of unbearble wit...

Re: Elimination Final Geelong v Fremantle

I know Swoods is not a fan, but Matthew Pavlich is some sort of player. We've got no-one near his capabilities. I know Hurley has the potential to be, but it seems he's destined to be a backman. Freo look quick. They move the ball quick. And they like to score quick. This is un-Ross Lyon like, but ...
