Re: R16 ESSENDON v the filth.

mcniece has diarreah in the afl thus far. hope he shows something to justify this selection in a must win game.

dea has been relatively solid. maybe mcniece will play a pure shut down role on one of the mugpies speedier forwards so saad and mckenna can play a little looser to create rebound and run.

Re: Sack Worsfold

people were calling for the sacking of worsfold at the end of that disgraceful four straight losses I think. it wasnt the losses as much as the way we lost. i dont recall people calling the worsfolds head after round 3. Ok look I'll say this absolutely as nice as I can because jesus christ I could ...

Re: R11 ESSENDON v Richmond

Goddard is killing team confidence with his inevitable turn-overs off the half-back line - particularly in the first half of games. I'd rather play Francis down back as the intercept role. I know it goes against my first statement -but there is an upside to him - with Goddard I'm afraid its all dow...

quite the character sheeds.

his bizzarre moves on field were sometimes genius, sometimes ridiculous. like the time he lined up joel reynolds on fevola...still a legend of the EFC though no doubt

Aaron Francis must be a chance for selection. Ambrose might be out, time for Francis to get a gig!

I have been saying this for 2 seasons now. He is just not a Captains bootlace...sorry. you sure you dont want to renege that comment? he looks like a leader to me and has for most his career. a couple of sub par shouldnt change that. He’s stepped up the last few weeks, but before that, Daisy is rig...

Re: Francis

from the glimpses ive seen he had class and strong hands. If he can get afl fit, a backline combination of hurley, hooker and francis looks promising. either of those players can swing forward if match ups dictate and teams go small and quick up front.

time will tell.

McGrath IN is a no brainer.

Clarke OUT is rough IMO.

The Lavatory should count himself lucky.

Re: Sack Worsfold

Can we back it up though? Now is the time to thrash the GWS, they have a lot of their good players out injured. We need to improve our percentage and this is one game to do it. No sympathy go for the jugular and smash them. Go Bombers. these are typically the types of games essendon lose. plus its ...

Re: SMACK ATTACK!!!

We’ve seen Smack do this before but he never seems to get a fair run in the seniors. Give him a guaranteed 5 games and see how he goes. he doesnt get many chances because he is usually getting games as a ruckman. Hes too small for that. And its hard to play him forward with joe, stewart and ealier ...

Re: Season Gone - Time to Look Forward

Here's one from left field. It is obvious that Jobe's departure has left a massive gap in the midfield which the current incumbents cannot hope to fill. What is basically required is a solidly built player with quick reflexes, pace to burn, (which eluded Jobey!), quick hands, good disposal skills, ...

Re: R9 ESSENDON v Geelong

Out: Mutch In: Jerrett thats sounds realistic. eveyone elses ins and outs are fanciful. i mean really, drop hurley?? lmao yeah ok. worsfolds axe is more like a butter knife. hes not dropping anyone notable no matter how poor their form is. worsfold should consider dropping himself back to the vfl.
