Re: Ben Cousins

Well I`m waiting to see if Ben and maybe Swanny too are going to hand their medals back?. For actual drug use while playing and not because of rumour, here-say and fkng innuendo. Not to mention - premiership medallions. That is probably not going to happen. But I thought you couldn`t use drugs to i...

Re: Australia v South Africa Test Series

The good thing about the test finishing so quickly is that our players will be well rested for the next "test" And I don't have to watch any more of that drivel :P I think they are being made to play in the shield matches this weekend. All 'test' players are playing shield this week, to try and fin...

Re: Pick 1

I still believe we`ll take Mc Cluggage pick 1. And I`m betting the one we don`t pick will go on and be a f***'n gun, so I`m just hoping the one we do chose also becomes a gun. :) My interest is who we can snag with pick 20. Their will still be some decent talent around at that pick and there i...

Re: Ins & Outs

Stevo on Ch 7 said we wanted him and the paperwork to pick him up as a delisted free agent could be lodged with the AFL in the next couple of days. But then again mid last year Stevo said Carlisle to Carlton was a done deal and he would put his house on it. So given that expected Richards to be pla...

Re: Pick 1

I`m fairly convinced we will take Mc Cluggage with first pick, as I reckon we have half-backs covered with the likes of Walla, Francis, Kelly and maybe even Gleeson, and Goddard.

But you can NEVER have too many classy goal-kicking mids.

Re: Ins & Outs

McKenna upgraded. Upgraded but was only given a 1 year deal, which I find somewhat strange. Makes sense to me. Keep him on his toes & hungry to succeed, avoiding complacency and maintaining the motivation to work hard and succeed. He's getting better but not quite proven himself just yet. These day...

Re: PSD?

Total shoulder recon already - no thanks! :( Should be good to go then! He certainly has pedigree and is a solid 20 year old. 196cm, 98kg...forward depth & development player? Hartley had dodgy shoulders early and that hasn't held him back. Anyhow, I see him as a rookie selection more than anything...

And we know he`s ready to go.

Played some handy games for the swans through the year, (back and forward), and he could turn into a handy swingman.

Re: PSD?

Aaron Heppell or Ben Long are another couple of options I would consider. I saw a bit of Hepps on telly in the VFL and yes he looks ok, BUT what can you tell me about Ben Long?, I`ve never layed eyes on him but just that name makes my interest pique. :) Jake's brother good pedigree but can he play?...

Re: PSD?

And now back to the original question here, especially now that O`meara or Lyons are no longer available, WHO the f*** should we be targeting now?.

Re: Hibberd

Will be interested to see who we take with 29, still some good players around there. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2016-10-13/callum-twomeys-phantom-form-guide-october-edition Graham sounds good, or could we piss collingwood off by picking Brown? Hopefully get to use pick 20 on Galluci or Fl...

Re: O'Meara

So just dreaming I suppose but next years mid-field could be Watson, Heppell, Parish,Zac Merrett and O`meara, with help from Goddard, Myers, Colyer and Co.

But that`s assuming we could get O`meara 'fit and healthy'.

That`s a fair mid-field in any mans books.

Lyons leaps tonight

Surely if this bloke ends up in the pre-season draft we should snaffle him??. Especially if it will trump and therefore piss off the scum  http://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/adelaides-desire-to-recruit-bryce-gibbs-could-force-jarryd-lyons-to-seek-a-trade-as-rival-clubs-circle/news-story/d9d096...

I know he could turn out to be a good foil for Joe, his old man could play a bit.
