Re: Victorian Police Foil Terror Attack planned in Melbourne

Agreed Ben, and now the courts and politicians need to do the right thing by jailing the cowardly would-be murdering bastards FOR A LONG TIME. And when they serve their sentences they should be DEPORTED back to their country/s of origin, and NEVER be allowed to return.

Robert Harvey says hi.
 Please refresh my memory bonce.

I reckon Harvey was a better footballer than either of Cotchin or Mitchell regardless.

WHY THE f*** NOT?

I know we all get sick of talking about the 'tainted' years, but I would really like an answer as to how we were crucified over our pathetic governance issues. Why were Melbourne NOT??. As dicussed by Dr. Kim Sawyer in the video (below), they run THE SAME f****** programme as we did. https://mail.go...

The Hibbo Gem

I just have a feeling that we are going to pluck a 'gem' with the Hibbo pick (29).

There are always sliders on the night. :)

Re: Pick 1

Has anyone else noticed how the last couple of days before the draft how time drags? Or am I just impatient? Yes it`s bloody well dragging  it`s funny to be actually looking forward to a draft after the sanctions and shit of the last 4 years. One thing for sure though, we are going to get a go...

Re: Ben Cousins

Well I`m waiting to see if Ben and maybe Swanny too are going to hand their medals back?. For actual drug use while playing and not because of rumour, here-say and fkng innuendo. Not to mention - premiership medallions. That is probably not going to happen. But I thought you couldn`t use drugs to i...

Re: Australia v South Africa Test Series

The good thing about the test finishing so quickly is that our players will be well rested for the next "test" And I don't have to watch any more of that drivel :P I think they are being made to play in the shield matches this weekend. All 'test' players are playing shield this week, to try and fin...

Re: Pick 1

I still believe we`ll take Mc Cluggage pick 1. And I`m betting the one we don`t pick will go on and be a f***'n gun, so I`m just hoping the one we do chose also becomes a gun. :) My interest is who we can snag with pick 20. Their will still be some decent talent around at that pick and there i...

Re: Ins & Outs

Stevo on Ch 7 said we wanted him and the paperwork to pick him up as a delisted free agent could be lodged with the AFL in the next couple of days. But then again mid last year Stevo said Carlisle to Carlton was a done deal and he would put his house on it. So given that expected Richards to be pla...

Re: Pick 1

I`m fairly convinced we will take Mc Cluggage with first pick, as I reckon we have half-backs covered with the likes of Walla, Francis, Kelly and maybe even Gleeson, and Goddard.

But you can NEVER have too many classy goal-kicking mids.

Re: Ins & Outs

McKenna upgraded. Upgraded but was only given a 1 year deal, which I find somewhat strange. Makes sense to me. Keep him on his toes & hungry to succeed, avoiding complacency and maintaining the motivation to work hard and succeed. He's getting better but not quite proven himself just yet. These day...

Re: PSD?

Total shoulder recon already - no thanks! :( Should be good to go then! He certainly has pedigree and is a solid 20 year old. 196cm, 98kg...forward depth & development player? Hartley had dodgy shoulders early and that hasn't held him back. Anyhow, I see him as a rookie selection more than anything...

And we know he`s ready to go.

Played some handy games for the swans through the year, (back and forward), and he could turn into a handy swingman.

Re: PSD?

Aaron Heppell or Ben Long are another couple of options I would consider. I saw a bit of Hepps on telly in the VFL and yes he looks ok, BUT what can you tell me about Ben Long?, I`ve never layed eyes on him but just that name makes my interest pique. :) Jake's brother good pedigree but can he play?...
