When he's on, there are no better. And it's not like he was wildly swinging at everything, every shot seemed to come off the middle of the bat. A reasoned, considered approach was needed to chase that total, and he delivered to a T.

Johnson, well, he saved about 30 runs with some quick thinking, and it proved to be the difference. We had a shit day in the field. His run out (flukish as it may be) and White's dive to the right were the only two actions with any difficulty that Australia achieved. Everything else above and beyond the bog standard chances, we cocked up. Missed run outs, dropped catches, and the stumpings, well f*** me.

I didn't see any of the game or even hear about it until this afternoon, but apparently Clarke was getting booed while he batted. Good work by all involved. =D>

Despite my criticism about his running, I have to admit that was a magnificent innings the other night.

did you read in today's paper about Clarke being out drinking on the 3rd day of a test match and said to someone that it doesn't matter that they were out cause they had lost the game anyway.......... if true what a great captain we have waiting for us

Was the night before England needed to take the last 3 or 4 wickets to wrap up the Boxing Day Test.
Media beat up in my opinion.

Lucky we have our "fearsome" boweling attack (that was a originally a typo!) currently 4/36 in the 14th over.

White and Marsh in.

So this is the team that's going to retain the world cup?

Marsh and White batting well 4/119 at the 30 over mark. If these guys can stay in for another 10 overs we may post a decent total.

How in the name of Andrew Hilditch's dog do guys like Cameron White. Tim Paine and Shaun Marsh NOT get in the Test team, but spuds like Phil Hughes, Marcus North, Michael Clarke and Brad Haddin et al get a guaranteed spot regardless of form? F*CK!

40 overs. We've almost made what Watson did in the last game.

Bollinger/Marsh partnership now the biggest Australian 9th wicket in ODI history.

Nos 2 and three both had Bevan in them.....

Oh well, I'm sure if we continue this trend of one batsman doing their job per innings we'll be fine....
