2/185...

Only a Tassie Victory or a draw seems likely.

What an ugly way to do it...

Harwood oversteps the mark to give the game.

If he hadnt of overstepped the Tigers would have needed a run off the last ball to win the game, otherwise it would have been a draw.

2 late wickets gave us some hope, but we just didnt get enough breakthroughs to ever threaten.

Australia struggling at 3/61 after 26 overs but at least we have plenty of wickets in hand.

As per usual New Zealand create pitches that a third world nation would be ashamed of but I guess they have to bat on it too....

If anyone is in doubt of how the wicket is try to catch a glimpse of Haddins dismissal....

Oh yeah we still have The Golden Child to come so we should be right!!!!

It is an absolute disgrace mate we are doing well not to have been rolled already....

I guess the kiwis thought the only chance they had was by winning on a toss of a coin!!

Calls of the wicket being a minefield don't really stand up when the opposing side is 0/60 off 14.

Maybe a lack of mental application perhaps?

As I said previously the toss won them this one

Sure the pitch is an absolute bowler's deck, but it is the same for both sides, it's not as if it's magically flattened out for New Zealand during the tea break.

It just takes that bit of extra care.

Thank god Buchanan is going at the end of the WC. Running the players into the ground is a stupid idea. It may work in football (didnt last year for the crows) but the fitness levels in football need to be much higher than cricket. As a result of this, Symonds is gone from the world cup and Ponting will go into the WC with a severe niggle.

Ill be close in writing us off right now. McGrath is not teh bowler he used to be and should have retired at the end of the ashes.

Hope they do, and within 20 overs would be nice.

Just to show Flandes what a dick he has become. He has over-complicated a very simple game. I said form the start, his job should be to make sure the boys are all on the bus on time, all the balls are in the bins and everybody has a nice cool drink after training, and leave the coaching to Warne or a real cricketer.

Cricket is a very simple sport.
