My league is basically the same as the last 1, with 2 new teams in. So im looking for a top 3 finish. Only 1 team beat me last year. If i joined at the start of the year i would have been promoted for sure. Beat the top team twice.

Theres only 1 team who worries me. His 4 bowlers are unbelievable. Bowled me out for 120 last time, i was averaging at least 280 a game.

I have 3 teams that I think are quite good. 1 has been relegated and the other two finished 2nd and 3rd last season.

Don't set your hopes too high. Generally the blokes in that team are respectable respectable when they come out of the academy and then are put on 3-4 nets.

Some people just train their players simply to get into those teams. They don't even play them themselves!

What it will be is 10 teams, split into two. I have convinced my brother to join and bascially "make up the numbers" as that 10th team. He will automatically be in the second division, as it is a new team. If somebody decides they want to join in the next season, he will drop out to allow the new team to come in.

As for ranking of the remaining 9 teams, I will take the 5 best players in each team and add up their rankings. Why I am doing this as opposed to adding up 11 is simply that it is easier, while still having the same result.

If you all could pm me your team name, so i can actually find it on battrick and do all the figures, that will be much appreciated.

Bombertalk Battrick Championship - Winter 2007

The ranking has been completed for the upcoming Bombertalk Battrick Championship - Winter 2007. As we can well see, Creole has gained top seeding in the First Division with an impressive 83,935, well ahead of Bomber Boys and Diamond Ducks with 50,721 and 35,626 respectively. Making up the remaining positions in the First Division is 6'n'Out, with 35,227 and scraping into the last remaining position, Rob's Legends with 34,692.

Second Division sees Gunnerz C.C painfully just missing out on the top-flight competition with a ranking of 33,315, followed by Lilydale with 31,456, Deano's awesome 11 with 24,927 and Eastern Warriors, at the bottom of the Division, which were excluded from the ranking system.

Even though the season is just beginning, it is obvious that the favourites for both divisions will take some beating, leaving immense pressure on First Division teams to perform to keep their place in the top-flight competition with teams like Gunnerz C.C keen to earn promotion at the end of the season.

Note: I have just realised that Gossy7 will not be competiting in this competition, as he is already in another competition. This leaves us one short for an optimum two division system. I will PM everybody who has indicated that they have a team in this thread to see if a) they still are involved and b) if they want to join our competition.

Failing that, I will cut my brother's team (Eastern Warriors) from the competition and merge the two divisions.

Hey, I won't be using Creole, as they are in a different league but my 'brother's team 'Victory'. This is the team I have been playing the friendlies with against other BTers.

Anyway it makes little differences to the division as they still have the highest ranking.
