Well, at the age of 35 one would think he's left his run a bit late. I thought they had to spend 3 years in the system (after gaining citizenship) before they could represent the country.bombercol wrote:I read that Ian Harvey is going for English citizenship.
Maybe trying to get a game for the poms?
Maybe not after the last two wicket keepers theyve selected.BenDoolan wrote:Well, at the age of 35 one would think he's left his run a bit late. Matt Prior the former South African just smashed a hundred for them against the West indies. Where's he been hiding? Geraint Jones will never play another Test.bombercol wrote:Maybe not after the last two wicket keepers theyve selected.BenDoolan wrote:Well, at the age of 35 one would think he's left his run a bit late. Went and watched Shane Warne and Stuart Clarke for Hampshire v Sussex yesterday.
Clarke was very accurate - and got a couple of early wickets, whilst Warney had the lower middle order in a tizz and got 3 wickets.
It was strange hearing Warney shout "come on the hawks," and funny when Sussex were reeling at 58-5 he comes out with "come on guys, lets finish them off, I'm hungry and want my dinner"![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)

Glad to hear he hasn't lost his appetite!!!
Just because they are test bowlers doesnt mean they are any goodBenDoolan wrote:......

The Vics are doing well over there at the moment. Hussey's innings was against an attack that consisted of Test bowlers in Andre Nel and Danish Kaneria.

At least he's a better bowler than any pie chucker for Bangladesh. It's a joke that a team that consists some of the world's greatest batsmen have to play against bowlers of the quality equivalent to primary school kids. India currently 1 for 484 (the top 3 batsmen have scored 100's and Tendulkar is 79*)
And they chose to field first as well.BenDoolan wrote:True too!Rossoneri wrote:Just because they are test bowlers doesnt mean they are any goodBenDoolan wrote:......
