Doesn't matter, it's all for fun.

Your team will improve anyway. I lnow my team still needs to improve quite a bit with my best player only having a Battrick rating of around 8000.

you have 10 nets so hirer like 4 bowling 2 bats 3 feilding and 1 stamina, (go to nets to put them in) once you have done that, name a team in "orders" (fixtures), if you need to buy some players, but dont blow all your money!!

He he. I read this thread that reminds me that I had signed up for Battrick and that I fumbled around on the site and worked out how to name a team.

I log in today and see that I have a match in progress (Diamond Ducks is my team if you want to challenge me while I'm still feeble or woeful in every department). All excited I click on fixtures to see how my guys are going.

Result all out in 48 overs (pleased with nearly batting all 50 overs) for a lowly 205.....might call myself England.

Out to bowl we go, enthusiastic that we can make a game of it. The result there was we didn't take a wicket, the openers scored better than a run a ball, one bowler was hit for 71 of his 10 overs and they made heir target in 31 overs.

Time to hit the nets me thinks.......

OUCH!!

I had my very first game today, won the toss and batted first, i was all out for 189 in 45.3 overs.... thinking ive lost, came back later on to see my team bowling and had them 9-118 and i was laughing, untill there number 10 batsman made 50 off like 20 bowls.... but i ended up winning by 22 runs, puts me up to 4th with my first win of the season because i took over some other crap team that was coming last.... i had a guy who bowled 10overs 6/18!,

Just made a side, team is called 6'n'Out, wouldn't mind a scratch match against someone to see what my team is like. Seeing as I have no idea how to challenge people if you challenge me it would be much appreciated.

I lost by 9 wickets!!! I played against a pretty good side who have been around for a while.

This is only my second season.

i just played a friendy and got bowled out for 64.... my opener and 1st drop made 25 each... and there was like 10 extras... shows how good my middle order is...

I try to play my developing players in friendlies to give them experience and increase their rating.
