Four 50s in a row for White, surely he'd have to get a look in at the ODI team.

Vics out of the cup.
VIC 9/321 off 50 overs (D. Christian 117, R. Quniey 89, C. White 42, S. Abbott 3-53, J. Hazelwood 3-62) defeated by NSW 6/324 off 49.3 overs (D. Warner 197, P. Nevill 46, N. Maddinson 28)
Warner was caught on the rope in the second last over with three runs left to win. And that's three big hundreds in four games for him.
So far Christian seems like a good pick up.

Not the best format, but had to change what they did last year when there was no shield game for about an 8 week stretch...but yes, muppets...ealesy wrote:Jesus Cricket Australia are a smart bunch.
12 months out from a World Cup on Australian soil and they reduce the number of ODD matches being played, and jam them into what, a 3 week period?

It's the same again this year.
There is about a 6-8 week block where the only professional circket being played in the country are Ashes Test matches and the bullshit Big Bash crap.

Can't believe some "experts" are contemplating Shaun Marsh returning to the test team. Seriously, WTF???? The guy is more of a physical liability than Watson (if that's possible), and his test and first class records are diabolical. Where are these guy's brains located?
