The next 9 batsmen scored a total of 22 runs. Rabbit shit.
Not to mention Mr Extras made 21 all by himself!

Move him up to no 3. I reckon he'd average more than anyone we've tried since Ponting.

Now prove me wrong Peter!
He's clearly lost pace this summer (stupid vegetablist diet I presume) and never did anything special with the ball anyway.

I can. What a dickface.

And the selectors can go and get f*****. The Argus report said pick on form. Marsh was not in form. "Watto" has never been better than average in the Test team.

Shane Watson, our great all rounder weapon, who must be picked at all costs, his numbers speak volumes. For our big name top order weapon 51 tests, 4 centuries average mid 30's. 68 wkts, bowls on average 15 overs PER TEST. Woo hoo.

It's time to look elsewhere selectors.

Argus report, pick on form....they pick who they think will sell tickets or who is popular in the dressing room. Poor Phillip Hughes, what more can he do and he is a far better player now than when he got his first gig. If only the selectors picked on form and then looked after these players when theyre picked, to give them an ounce of confidence about themselves, our batting order could be very strong.

P.S. I feel sorry for Marsh and Doolan.

Marsh should never have been picked in the first place but he did score 140 odd and 40 in the first test, Doolan shoulve been picked twelve months ago when in red hot form did score 20 odd and 89 in the first test too.

Now one will be dropped for wonderboy Watson who we still wait to be a great player.

I would have thought Marsh and Doolan would deserve another test based on their first test efforts. No wonder our batting order is so brittle, everyone that gets in the selectors continually f*** with their heads.

Important toss to win. Now to capitalise!

Glad to see the selectors dump Marsh and retain DOOLAN. And a good move to bring Pattinson in for Siddle.

Brisk start with 0/26 off 4 overs (Warner 14*, Rogers12*)

Timely knock from Clarke...and as much as we have raved on about MJ and BH, how good is Smith going atm?

f****** gustsy knck from Clarke. Clearly out of touch, he just got in behind it and battled through.

Cannot wait for MJ to return the favor. Althought I doubt Smith will stay in long enough to be tested.

Awesome knock by Clarke. Gutsy stuff considering his bad run of scores. Smiffy has been in terrific form for some time now. He may not be the most elegant batsman going around, but it shows that it's not about "how", but how many...

AUS 3/381 (D. Warner 135, M. Clarke 114*, S. Smith 78*)

I don't quite get the talk about Morne Morkel. Sure, he's hit a few heads. Big deal. Having a series bowling average of 59 is nothing to write home about...

Daryll Cullinan says "that although Morkel's spell to Clarke was exciting to watch, the bowler should have made the batsman play more. Cullinan, however, said Australia do not hold the advantage yet."
How are they going to win this without Steyn. Runs already on the board.

Great stuff by Clarke. 10th 150+ score for him. Morkel was certainly bowling very aggressively, but ultimately for nothing.

Smith and Warner also very good.

Rain.

Have a feeling we are going to need everyone of the 500+ runs we will end up with.
Too far for Baker now he's on to it, now he’s got it, OPEN GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Dons are in front by one point at the 8 minute mark
