3 races into his Red Bull career and every single one will be destroyed from team errors.... yesterday was as bad a day as i've ever seen a driver have, first of all they can't even put a f****** wheel on properly, then the car controller drops him before all wheel gun men have raised their arms.... then almost straight away he f****** front wing falls apart...... If I were in his position everyone in the garage had better get out cause id be throwing my helmet and anything else I could find around the joint!

not only did he receive a 10 second Stop/Go penalty he also gets a 10 spot penalty for the next race..... what a ridiculous thing, 2 penalties for the 1 incident that wasn't even his own doing...

Now the cheery that goes on top of this pile of dog shit cake, Vettel publically criticized the sound of the 2014 cars and used some colourful language in the process and so now the FIA are threatening to sanction Vettel if Red Bull don't withdraw their appeal... AFL bully tactics all over again, Vettel opened his arrogant gob so if the FIA want to sanction him then Red Bull should have the balls to say "Dan doesn't deserve for the appeal to be dropped on account of Vettel's actions so we will continue the appeal" but noooooo they wont do that to their precious little selfish twat will they?

Not like they will sanction him point or race day penalties, just some $$$ which he has plenty of anyway

f*** I hate sport at the moment.... with there was a pure sport out there where people arn't trying to run their own agenda's and ruin it for everyone for their own gain

Them telling that selfish twat to get out of his way was probably the sweetest moment for me in formula 1 for the past 3 seasons.

Fabulous race with close racing throughout the field altho it was embarrassing that the best sounding car was the pace car!!. Looks like they are going to address the appalling sound.

Ditto above with Vettel being asked to move over. How good was that.

If, and it's a big if, Danny gets his points back he will be third behind the Mercs.

New evidence boosts Red Bull Formula 1 team's fuel-flow appeal
By Jonathan Noble Friday, April 11th 2014, 09:57 GMT
Red Bull claims that new evidence has come to light that will boost its Formula 1 appeal case hearing against Daniel Ricciardo's Australian Grand Prix disqualification.
The FIA's International Court of Appeal will meet on Monday (Today)to discuss Ricciardo's exclusion from second place in Melbourne over a breach of the fuel-flow regulations.
Ricciardo was thrown out after the fuel-flow sensor on his car indicated that he had consistently breached the maximum 100kg/h fuel-flow limit.
Red Bull argues, however, that the fuel-flow sensor was not providing satisfactory readings and that, with its accuracy drifting, it had no choice but to use its own data instead.
The team is confident that it can prove that it was within the maximum fuel allowance - as well as show that there are ongoing problems with the fuel sensors.
Plus, with the team desperate to get as many points as it can to keep the gap to pacesetter Mercedes manageable before it delivers car improvements, it knows how important winning the appeal is.
Team principal Christian Horner said: "Those points are vital. Every point is vital.
"We have got a very strong case. As more races have progressed, issues have become more evident - and new evidence has come to light, new understandings have come to light.
"So hopefully we can present our case fairly and get our second place back that Daniel deserves from Melbourne."
Red Bull has declined to elaborate on what the new evidence is, but it may relate to an increased understanding of why there has been a spate of issues for itself and sister team Toro Rosso in the first three races of the season.
If the team can prove that there are issues with the fuel sensors that were not clear to the FIA before the start of the season, then it may have a stronger argument.
Red Bull also claims that a technical directive issued by the FIA in early March outlining when teams would be allowed to base readings on their own data holds no regulatory value.
It argues that it therefore fully complied with the regulations regarding fuel-flow limits.

Danny will go to 3rd on the Championship points list if the hearing is in his favour

Danny's disqualification stands and Red Bull have accepted the verdict. Very sad outcome which only further demonstrated the lack of love for RB in the pits whereby Mercedes pushed to have a greater penalty imposed.

The way he has started the season, there is every chance that he can pick up those lost points.

As long as he beats the Kraut!!!

2 Red Bulls split the Mercedes for the China GP, Daniel starting off the front row and Vettel in behind him.

that's 3-1 to Dan in Qualifying so far this year =D>

Ricciardo beats Vettel again. Eat that c***.

Vettel asked to move out of the way half way through the race, refuses by saying "bad luck", gets passed anyway....eat that too cockhead.
Showing anyone who still has any doubts left that he is a little c***.

Possibly the least popular overseas sports person in Australia?

(Should mention since I said I was done with F1 I have watched every single race lol. Will still be disgusted when the reality of double points kicks in later this year.)

Vettel really is a little shit. Once again defying team orders and playing his own game. There is no way he let Ricciardo through. Danny got up the inside of him at turn 1 and forced him into the marbles.

Had Ricciardo made a decent start, then a podium was on offer.

THANKS, SEBBY!!!

According to the personal website of James Allen, an F1 journalist, several leading F1 strategists were in agreement that had Vettel moved out of the way when he was first asked by the team on lap 24, Ricciardo would have moved within striking distance of the third-placed Ferrari of Fernando Alonso with around four laps to go.

These unnamed experts, however, admitted that actually passing Alonso would have been difficult for Ricciardo, whom the FIA's timing information recorded as being slower the No. 14 Ferrari (albeit by 0.2 kph) in the speed trap rankings at Shanghai.

But the probable aid of DRS coupled with the fact that Alonso had passed the 20-lap mark on his final stint on the third from last lap—and could therefore have been vulnerable to pressure from Ricciardo, who made his final stop on lap 37, four laps later than the Ferrari—suggests that a podium was a strong possibility, if not a certainty, for the Red Bull driver.

The three seconds that Ricciardo lost in fighting Vettel was ultimately decisive with the Australian eventually crossing the line 3.5 seconds behind Alonso after the Spaniard’s pace dropped off by over a second on the final lap.

And although Vettel eventually moved out of the way on lap 26 with a manoeuvre more reminiscent of a car running wide in the heat of battle than an act of kindness, fresh questions have emerged regarding his status as a team player.
