Champion trainer. Met him a couple of times, a character, the sort of bloke needed in the industry.

Trained greats such as Tie The Knot, Spinning Hill & Streama.

I Worked for him in 2007 and 2008 at his Goulburn stables, it was my first experience in a racing stable and he made it very easy for me and while he spent most of his time in Sydney I still managed to speak to him fairly often and he helped me out quite a bit. couldn't find a nicer guy and a true gentleman.
