Well,sort of right.

He got off,but so far I haven’t read any of his defence hinged on the lack of disciplinary action elsewhere.

What I heard though,......... :roll:

South Africa 8 - 260 odd.

Good finish to the day,especially from Pat Cummins,when they were about 2 - 220ish.

Give us the details please,Ben.

3rd Test;

SAf 8/266 (D. Elgar 121*, A. de Villiers 64, P. Cummins 4-64, J. Hazlewood 2-37) v AUS

Fell asleep with the score at 2/220 odd thinking that we’re f*****. Expected to wake up with de Villiers not out on 250 because we have no f****** idea how to bowl to him. Obviously woke up in disbelief 😵

It’s great being 6 hours ahead of them,watching this in tandem with the Footy.

When the Footy’s over tonight,we’ll switch channels to see if The Republic of Ireland or Afghanistan can take advantage of Zimbabwe’s Almighty Slip-Up.

Didn’t see the last Hour,after “Last Bets”was called.

Well done and bad luck to Nathan Lyon who put his head down and scored 47,giving us some hope at least.

Australia 9 - 245 at Stumps.If Paine and Hazelwood can add another 30 or 40,it cuts the deficit right back,so we can start the 2nd innings from scratch.

Some Goose in the crowd had a go at Warner as he was heading up the path to the pavilion.I’ve had a nice old crack at Warner myself and still maintain he should have handled himself better in the 1st Test.

But who was this Goose and what did he say?

On a different note,I was keeping tabs in the TAB on the Ireland v Afghanistan WC Qualifier,after Zimbabwe made a mess of their chance to romp to a home Triumph,losing to a Winless United Arab Emirates,who quite literally pipped them
At The Post!

Commiserations to the Irish and Scots who just missed out and contributed to this tournament in no small way.

It’s no consolation,but if the ICC had any brains,they would extend future World Cups to 16 teams.

As it is,West Indies and Afghanistan are in,regardless of the Result of tomorrow’s Final
and my congratulations goes to them,especially Afghanistan!

3rd Test;

SAf 311 (D. Elgar 141*, A. de Villiers 64, P. Cummins 4-78, N. Lyon 2-43, J. Hazlewood 2-59) & 373 (A. Markram 84, Q. de Kock 65, A. de Villiers 63, V. Philander 52*, P. Cummins 3-67, J. Hazlewood 3-69, N. Lyon 3-102) defeated AUS 255 (C. Bancroft 77, N. Lyon 47, M. Morkel 4-87, K. Rabada 4-91, V. Philander 2-26) & 107 (M. Morkel 5-23, K. Maharaj 2-32)

What a f****** disgrace this turned out to be thanks to Bancroft, Smith & Warner.

4th Test;

SAf 488 (A. Markram 152, T. Bavuma 95*, A. de Villiers 69, K. Maharaj 45, P. Cummins 5-83, N. Lyon 3-182, C. Sayers 2-78) v AUS 4/90 (U. Khawaja 53, V. Philander 3-17)

Congrats to Chadd Sayers for finally getting a crack at Test cricket. Starc with stress fractures - YET AGAIN.

And a thought spared to those who took the field, and Tim Paine as captain. Everyone had their eyes glued to what was happening to the sandpaper trio, but we all forgot about the ones that remained and what they were going through. It was obviously devastating and gut wrenching watching it all unfold. Well done to Tim Paine in keeping things together - pun not intended.

Who'd be surprised at the final innings in Test 3 and the current innings, given what's transpired?
I doubt, if it were myself playing, that I'd care too much about the result. The team is on a hiding to nothing. If they performed fantastically, it would be ignored in favour of the cheating debacle anyway. Absolutely nothing to be gained from the series now, and they're playing accordingly.

Shit of a finish to the series,with the rot probably starting before we Won the 1st Test,with Warner and De Kock’s carry on.

Could the Disastrous 69/70 4 - 0 Loss to Bacher,Pollock G and P,Proctor and Tiger Lance,be any worse now?

It was considered a pretty rancorous and acrimonious Tour and that was just the relationship between Bill(Lawry)and the ACB.

No,this Tour knocked it off easily,no thanks to a Certain Pair from either side,Rabada’s rubbish and carry on and the ICC’s soft as butter backflip disciplining him,which went some way to contributing to the Brain Snap in Warner,Smith and Bancroft in losing it and the rest is history!

Australian Cricket is in Absolute Tatters right now and recovery is a long way off in many respects! :evil:

Amongst all the gloom, there is some bright spots in Tim Paine and Pat Cummins 8)

With the nasty weather ahead in the next couple of days,be curious to know why South Africa didn’t put us back in?

Series already Won,but I would have thought they’d be going hammer and tong to Finish us off.

No danger of us making them bat again!But the weather can save our arse,when we probably don’t deserve it.

Maybe they are showing empathy for the Aussies being thrown in the shit at the moment.
OR
More likely thinking even with rain, bowl us out inside 2 sessions :P

Not since the days of World Series Cricket in the 70’s and the Rebel Tours of South Africa in the 80’s, have I seen such a diabolical performance from the official Australian Cricket team.

Australia 3 - 88 at Stumps.

Funny enough,our 1st Wicket fell at 21,just after your update,Ben.

Not out Batsmen are S.Marsh and P.Handscombe on 23.Only Rain can save us now.
